Dog Tranquility and it’s owner Colleen Dermott have truly been life savers for our family. Over many years and multiple dog training experiences, I can honestly say that our experience with Dog Tranquility and Colleen is the best we have ever had. She is very passionate about what she does and cares very much about customers and their pets alike.We have adopted dogs for years but two of our current pups were getting along so badly that they were having fights that drew blood. My new pup (5 months) just finished Colleen's Puppy Obedience course, and we could not be happier. It was a great experience for my little pup and all of her puppy classmates - the perfect balance of socialization and training. I've had dogs all of my life and raised many puppies, and yet I still found myself learning new training techniques. What I appreciated most was Colleen's knowledge of how each pup is different and what works for one may not work for another. She took the time to help each person and pup in the class, meeting the individual needs of each so that all could be successful. Today, our pup completed her first class (Puppy Obedience) at Dog Tranquility. We are definitely signing up for the next class.Our pup is a German Shephard, who was returned by her first owners after they’ve had her for a month. She was very shy and fearful. The puppy obedience class, in combination with puppy socialization classes, helped her improve so much. She’s a much more confident doggo now that knows how to focus in a distracting situation, how to play with other dogs and how to behave around other people.The classes were fun and super informative.
