The staff member who answered listened to my concerns and made sure I was scheduled right away, which meant so much since I was struggling with my vision. When I arrived, Dr. Rachel Willcoxon was absolutely wonderful—caring, professional, and reassuring. She explained everything clearly and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. The exams and testing were thorough and top notch. Dr. Willcoxon didn’t just stop there—she and her team coordinated everything, even arranging my specialist appointment and following through so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks to her, I’ve already had one cataract removed, and I’m so grateful for her compassion and dedication. The only reason for four stars was the final “glasses sales lady”. She was trying to sell me $400 glasses and I told her I just needed the script to purchase them online. She lost the “friendliness” immediately after and was very dismissive. After that, even if I HAD chosen to purchase, I definitely would never go back to purchase from her.“

Dr. Kruz’s bedside manner is outstanding—he truly cares, takes the time to listen, and explains everything in detail so you feel comfortable and confident. He walked me through my cataract surgery step by step, and the results are unbelievable—going from being nearly blind to being able to see clearly again feels like a miracle. The follow-up care has been just as impressive. I received a call the very next day from Thomas Cheezun, who was so kind and thoughtful in checking on my wellbeing. It really meant a lot to know the team cares even after the procedure. The office staff; the girls that did all my exams at the 3 hour appointment, everyone at Great neck is also wonderful—friendly, professional, and very accommodating.
