“I have been contemplating getting a Brazilian for quite some time but was terrified because of what I had heard about the pain. A few months ago, I asked some folks for their opinions and recommendations, and Smooth was one of the top pics (as well as Starla). So, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get one done.Long story short, from the first point of arrival to the end, the process was amazing. Nova was extremely welcoming and cheerful and Starla was amazing in keeping my nerves calm. I don't necessarily consider myself to have a really high pain tolerance, but 10/10 - I would do this again. All in all, there were maybe 2-3 "ouch" points, but it wasn't like an unbearable experience by any means.Following my session, I immediately signed up for the membership - I'm not using a razor from here on out.Smooth Downtown is phenomenal!“

“The work done was beautifully, although I did need to remove them prematurely due to a complication in my eye. My appointment was scheduled for 2:15 and although my lash tech sent me a text informing me of her tardiness, there was no apology or anything upon her arrival. I waited 35 minutes and it was 2:50 when I was over it and on my way out the door to leave when she arrived so I just let her do my lashes anyways. Wouldn’t see myself coming here again.Addendum: Appreciate that the lash tech reached out later with concern and apologized for the tardiness.“

“I’m visiting VA from NY and I was looking to get a last minute touch up fill before I went home if time and circumstances allows it. I called Winks and was met with the best customer service I’ve had in a while. I explained I was unsure if I’d be able to guarantee I’d be able to make it but I’d like to reserve the time and would contact her immediately should anything change- I also informed her this was obviously a foreign fill and I didn’t need much but just a touch up. She gave me the most reasonable pricing out of all of the places I called and was completely understanding and willing to be flexible with me to get me in if I was able to completely hassle free! I’ll definitely be keeping this in mind when I return to VA. 10/10 customer service with no pressure and a ton of patience! Highly recommend!“

“I LOVE this nail spa! The young man who did my pedicure did a tremendous job! He did so well that I don't want anyone else to touch my feet when I come for my pedicures. The color lasts quite a while and doesn't chip or fade. I was literally prepared to weather the storm! The first time I came here was the night of that horrible hurricane that caused extreme flooding. It started to pour at the same time I was checking out. I had to run to my car in my open-toe sandals, but the work he put in was not in vain! My feet survived the hurricane and it is for this very reason I will only see him. I already don't like people touching my feet, but I know my feet are safe with him. I pray he never leaves because its taken me a while to find a nail salon I trust.The actually spa is small and a bit crowded, but that seems to be a common theme for all the best nail spas.Service: Pedicure“
