“Technician Rick showed up early on Monday to address a series of malfunctioning lights. He repaired a recessed light socket, fixed a bent bracket in a flickering pendant light, and changed a hard-to-reach recessed above in a stairway. His repairs spared us the expense of new materials. He was extremely friendly and patient, and spent a lot of time explaining how he addressed each problem. He showed us how to remove the covers of two under-cabinet light fixtures. He also showed us that we could replace recessed light bulbs with LEDs, using only a small adjustment to the mounting prongs, which we were able to do ourselves later that day. He spent an hour at our home, and his extensive repairs and education were well worth the $199 flat rate. We have used Autumn Electric several times, and have always been extremely satisfied!“

“I had a working GFCI that stopped working after 8+ years and I thought it had gone bad and needed to be replaced. I bought a new one and wired it exactly the same as the old one, and it still wasn't working. I called Mike who told me while he couldn't come fix the issue, he would walk me through troubleshooting the issue. Turns out I had both the old and new receptacles wired backwards and the old one was more forgiving. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with me, my problem was solved. “Had an emergency this morning. Water leaked from 3d level bathroom into kitchen area on main level. Water collected in kitchen light module, so I killed the power and called Bakers. Technician arrived and quickly fixed problem and dried all electrical circuits in light housing. This accident could have been a lot worse had I turned on the lights which would have caused a fire. Thankful for Bakers Electrical Service for isolating problem and repairing light housing structure.“
