“We were new to the area and were a bit stressed when looking for a vet for our cat. All of the staff is friendly and patient. We had a procedure done for our cat and the technicians and vets walked us through the process explaining all the charges and step by step procedures of what was going to happen. We asked a ton of questions all of which were answered and additional information was given. Right now for the most part they do pick up/give your pet back from your car but we were allowed to go inside when dropping our cat off for her procedure.“

“Let me be the first to say that my dog is more than most people can handle, medical professionals included. I got my Belgian Malinois when he was 8 weeks old, and went through 4 different vets that couldn't manage to give him his vaccinations. Either he was too "aggressive" or "squirmy". Then I found Pawsitive Care! Caesyn has been coming back ever since. The staff are always kind, caring, and courteous. No matter what I need, when I briefly moved to New Mexico the staff provided me with a copy of his complete file in no time, they are truly the best. The vet always asks if I have any concerns or if I've noticed any strange behavior and addresses my concerns kindly. I'll never go anywhere else, I refer everyone I know here!“

“My family has been with Pets R Family since we brought our puppy home (a little under a year). The staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Z doesn't make you feel rushed when you have questions and is generally conservative when it comes to making recommendations for food, medicine, etc.Oh and if you come in for routine care or surgery packages, you get the exact price for everything before treatment begins. Wouldn't take my pup anywhere else!“

I never thought to leave a Yelp review until yesterday when I had to put my dog of 18 years down. It was one of the most difficult decisions my wife and I had to make and we didn't know what to do. Dr. Breen and her assistant helped us with making the difficult decision and everything was done with a quick and seamless procedure. It's the hardest part any pet owner will ever have to face but having them two there made it a bit less painful. My wife and I would like to thank them and I'm sure Romo would too. “What a wonderful vet! after moving to VA from out of state, we needed a vet for our 12 year old Lab mix. We tried another vet first.. they recommended things we didn't need, had awful pricing and terrible front staff. When her next vaccine was due, I decided to give Staples Mill a try. They were a breath of fresh air! First, a vet tech told me the frequency of gland expressions was probably unnecessary and actually could make things worse. Waitttt a vet that wants to save me money instead of an unnecessary procedure? I'm in! This continued with our next check where they agreed a tooth extraction was unnecessary unless it caused complications, especially given the risks of surgery and anesthesia for my pet's age. Not only is the service great, they give estimates immediately, and costs are decent. Even when referring us out to another hospital, they have an idea of the projected cost. Our previous vet couldn't give me an estimate for the unnecessary surgery, despite asking 3 times! Finally, wanted to mention the front staff is wonderful! A dog lost it bowels on the front walk, and my 3 year old stepped in it. We came in just to warn them, and they immediately went to clean it, but also insisted on taking my son's shoe and cleaning it and disinfecting it!“

“Friendly, efficient, and most important, took time to explain my pet's health issues and to recommend the most efficient and effective treatment. Was given a prompt appointment. Treatment done and received a call with full details. Received a full report again when I arrived to collect her. Additional, in-home, treatments recommended. So happy I took the recommendation for Crossroads and Dr. Reppuhn is outstanding.“

“I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Parks. We took our family Dog Star there when she was maybe 5 or 6? Before we met Dr. Parks we went to Battlefield, the WORST! Dr Parks saved Star from 3 different hip fractures, 2 tumors, one of the tumors she was 14 or 15 and he saved her. The tumor was a pretty decent side too. Star had a stroke at 17 and couldn’t control herself anymore. She passed over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Parks was able to have her cremated and we were able to keep her ashes and have an urn for her. Moving forward 7 years we got another dog, Ramona, she was just a pup, Dr Parks saved her when she was a little pup - rawhide - lesson learned. Ramona is now 12 going on 13. She has arthritis which he is helping her manage the pain for that! She has had all her blood work done recently and is thriving! I wouldn’t trust another Vet to care for my fur babies! Dr Park isn’t about the money like most vets are, he genuinely cares for these animals. I know when Ramona is with Dr Parks she is in good hands! You will not find another like him.“

“My normal vet wasn't able to see us today for an emergency case of kennel cough. The receptionist was wonderful in accommodating same day and also calling over to our other vet to get records. Dr Morrow and her assistant were incredibly compassionate, and thorough. I highly recommend this office. We will be switching to Dr. Morrow moving forward as we were so pleased.“

“Old Bridge Vet has been our veterinarian ever since we moved to Virginia. They helped us through a difficult time with our dog Bella when she passed away earlier this year. They were compassionate and caring. Our new dog Peggy is well taken care of also by them. I would highly recommend them to any pet owners in the Lake Ridge area. They also provide kennel services which we have used several times. Always with great results. I should also mention the employees there. They are very friendly and you can just tell they love animals. Pricing is about the norm for any vet and they also provide a military discount.“

“I recently went to Dale City Animal Hospital w a foster cat I have. They recently moved and have a new facility which is large, clean and very welcoming. I got an appointment approximately a week or so after I called. The front desk staff was courteous and nice and I was checked in right after arriving. I did wait a little for my appointment but that’s pretty standard for a veterinary office. We saw Dr Drake whom I found to be very informative and was willing to listen to my concerns, which I had a lot of. I really liked the way she seems to summarize her findings and she was gentle and compassionate with my foster who is an older cat who has not had the best life before coming into our rescue. I was very happy with her plan of action and her recommendations. She called me as soon as she had the lab results which I appreciated and gave me an outline of what our next steps should/could be. Again, I found her to be very informative in her explanations and the possible plan of treatment. I was very surprised when my phone rang at 8:15 tonight and showed DCAH. She had received a lab test we were waiting on and had taken time out of her busy day (when she probably just wanted to get home) to let me know the outcome. I thought that was pretty great. All in all, I’m very very pleased with everything at this location and I consider myself to be pretty picky, and Dr Drake is a caring vet whom has a great “bedside” manner, or should I say table side manner ?. Thank you DCAH and Dr Drake for being so good to my sweet foster boy who deserves the best after his first 12-15 years of life which were not so great.“
