“We moved to Woodbridge 2 years ago and I have been very hard pressed to find a solid salon since arriving. I saw the reviews for Curves and thought I would try it, as it's outside the Woodbridge area. I was very pleasantly surprised. This salon is high-end, professional, and very welcoming. Both my daughter and I are now permanent clients. Both our hairstylists took quality time to discuss options and give their professional opinions prior to starting work on our hair. Neither recommended or did anything drastic, and managed to maximize our appearance through minimal approaches. This place is the real deal. I only wish I had found them earlier. “Customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The salon was nice and clean.I am very grateful that I was able to get a same day appointment for a very specific hairstyle. Abiy took care of me today. I wanted straight back cornrows with added extensions. She did warn me that she would do a test braid first before continuing to see if I would like it. I appreciated that as I know not a lot of people know how to do African-American hair.Overall she did a great job for something she might not have been used to.One thing I noticed when I got home is that a couple of the braids did start to unravel probably due to being cut just a little too short but the rest of the braids are fine.I was also a bit taken aback by the price which was $180. I am not sure if that’s the standard as I am new to the area but that is a steep price for what is usually a style that doesn’t last very long and is fairly simple. I should have done my research for sure but I know for next time.“
