Abiy took care of me today. I wanted straight back cornrows with added extensions. She did warn me that she would do a test braid first before continuing to see if I would like it. I appreciated that as I know not a lot of people know how to do African-American hair.Overall she did a great job for something she might not have been used to.One thing I noticed when I got home is that a couple of the braids did start to unravel probably due to being cut just a little too short but the rest of the braids are fine.I was also a bit taken aback by the price which was $180. I am not sure if that’s the standard as I am new to the area but that is a steep price for what is usually a style that doesn’t last very long and is fairly simple. I should have done my research for sure but I know for next time.“
