“Comfort Source has serviced the HVAC system in the building where I operate my law practice for many years. Recently, the aging AC system (which they have nursed along for years) finally failed after a long and prodigious life. We hired Comfort Source to replace the entire HVAC system including updating the airflow/venting and replacing thermostats (for furnace and A/C). Their technicians are always prompt, courteous and very efficient. They provided a very reasonable quote that was very competitive with all the contractors who were asked to provide pricing then they did the work quickly and expertly with no disruption to our ability to operate our business. During the short period that we were without central A/C they generously provided and installed window units until they could acquire all the necessary replacement equipment. The did the work quickly and left the premises very tidy and fully operational. Strongly recommend these folks for any of your plumbing, heating, cooling needs!“

He made the necessary equipment replacement, chemically cleaned the outside unit to get the system operating properly. “Just as the summer heat topped out, our A/C failed. Fitch was able to send someone out right away to diagnose a leaking coil. Jason, the lead technician, was pleasant, efficient and very understanding of the urgency of the situation. He was able to come back within two days to install the new coil. “I worked at Zephyr for around 2 years and can testify that this is the best residential HVAC company in Charlottesville.

I have been given no incentive to provide this review, have not been asked to do so by anyone. I simply want to convey what separates this company from others.

- Zephyr has a commitment to education which companies many times its size continue to neglect. Jesse (the owner) personally spent every day with me ensuring that I had disciplined service and installation procedures and ways of thinking which reflected his own. I was not allowed to go into the field as a technician until he was confident in my ability not to just do the bare minimum but to install units which ran efficiently and safely at the highest standard made possible by our knowledge, given the constraints provided by the house in question. This method is used for all the technicians in this company, and as a result there are no technicians here I would not be happy to send to the home of my family or friends.
- I was never rushed through work at this company. Jesse would rather his employees take much longer than expected than make a mistake which could reduce a unit's efficiency, even if it causes Zephyr to lose money on that job.
- Zephyr does not hire people who Jesse would not be comfortable with in his own home. You will not recieve a technician who is under the influence, has any felonies, or is at all disrespectful to you.
- Pricing is honest and trasparent. You will not be ripped off by this company. I never was asked to sell things a client did not need, nor was I asked to sell something for more than it was worth. If I ever had done this on my own volition, I would have been fired without hesitation.

As someone who worked for them for 2 years, I can testify to the integrity of the people at Zephyr and hope you will support them. You will not be disappointed.“

Solutions Mechanical responded very quickly since we had no hot water, provided a solution to help in the interim while a valve was on order and installed the valve the same day it was received. I highly recommend this business - they certainly came through in a pinch when we needed the support!“

“Long term good, reliable installation and service. We did a major remodel about 8 years ago and wanted to go with a geothermal heat pump for the cheaper heat, hot water option, and the warmer air output, and the tax credit option. We were also having a well drilled at the same time so I asked the well driller if he had any recommendations for a geothermal installation company. (Wells are needed for closed loop geo systems.) He said that he could only recommend 2 local HVAC contractors based on his experience. I was familiar with one and knew they were good but also very expensive. REBoggs was the other so Reb came out and talked with me and my general contractor. I could tell Reb knew what he was talking about and the rapport between him, my contractor, and me, was honest and open. Reb wrote up a few options, and in the end, after the tax credit, the geo was only slightly more expensive than a regular heat pump. We also got service contracts (2 preventative visits a year) for this geo heatpump, and 2 standard heatpumps already on the property. Here it is 8 years later and we are still happy with Boggs. We've only needed 2 actual "service calls" in that time and both were handled quickly and without any complications. Reliable and trustworthy. I would recommend them.“
