“Long story short, I had been dealing with eye strain and headaches for a week or two before I got in to see my eye doctor. Eyes were healthy, my prescription just changed. Easy fix! They even could order new lenses for my existing glasses! Sounds great, except it was going to take over two weeks for the new lenses to arrive! I already was sick of dealing with the eye strain, and started to assume I was just going to have to stick it out for the two weeks. I started to think, surely, the concept of glasses in less time than two weeks is not a thing of the past, surely there must be SOME place that I could still go. After doing some research online, I came to discover Eyeglasses Express. It was starting to become evening on a Saturday, and I assumed everyone would be closed until at least Monday morning. I saw that Eyeglasses Express had their hours listed as 24/7, surely that couldn't be true. The website said to call for appointments outside of the walk-in hours, so I did. Peter was the one who answered the phone and was very friendly. He confirmed my prescription was within the specs they can provide same-day, and we set up an appointment as soon as about an hour. When I arrived, I was very impressed with the selection of frames available. Usually I am pretty picky with styles but there were several options I would have gladly accepted. After settling on which frames I wanted, Peter set to building the glasses immediately, and they were ready in about 30 mins. I tried them on, he adjusted them to my face, and I immediately started feeling better. It would have been miserable if had to wait two more weeks for the lenses from my normal optometrist. I also greatly appreciate and prefer the fact that Eyeglasses Express is a local independent shop as well. At this point, I have no reason to want to get my future eye wear anywhere else, and will definitely be back.“

“2024, I came for annual exam to check my eye health and dry eye. Staff and Dr Dressler are so helpful and courteous and knowledgeable and professional. So confident and loving this practice for my eye care. Dr Dressler is very knowledgeable and caring for my eye she is my best eye Doctor ever.On 8/11/21, I visited for annual checkup and for my Dry eyes. “2.20.24 Ryden Optik is located in King Farm Village Center. There is street parking out front for those who are lazy or pressed for time. For those who can't parallel park to save their life like me, have no fear as there is additional parking in the back. There is a pass through/walkway around the corner. Dr. Thai had been my optician years ago, but due to life events, I left as a patient. Time passed and I am back to see Dr. Thai annually for my vision care. She is warm, friendly, and professional just as I remember her. I had my annual eye exam today. I was elated when she told me there are two types of tests that can be used for glaucoma: the air puff or blue light. Thank the heavens for technology! The blue light was so easy in comparison. Those days of torture and suffering with the air puff test are gone. Hooray!! I had lasik done in 2016 and she was impressed that my vision hasn't changed much since then and stayed the same as last year. Today I purchased glasses for nighttime driving with anti-glare lenses. The cost for my glasses and the eye exam was much more affordable than the optometrist I previously saw. I'm so glad to be back as Dr. Thai's patient. Highly recommend her.“
