“I recently had the pleasure of working with Shawn from Superior Damage Restoration to address a persistent water leak issue in a penthouse duplex unit. The problem was that water was seeping through from under the flooring and down the stairs whenever it rained. Previous contractors had incorrectly suggested that the issue was with the balcony door.Shawn and his team provided a comprehensive explanation of the root cause and took a thorough approach to resolve it. They removed the damaged flooring, waterproofed the balcony door, and even assisted with moving furniture around during the process. Despite their initial efforts, the issue persisted, but they didn't give up. Using thermal devices, they identified that the water was actually coming from the rooftop, down the wall frame studs, and into the floor.Once the true source was identified, they promptly waterproofed the rooftop, and after the next rain, I was relieved to see that no water came through. The team then continued with the flooring work, and Shawn offered an excellent choice of new flooring that perfectly matched the shade of the rest of the unit.I'm extremely satisfied with the work done by Shawn and his team. They were accommodating, responsive, efficient, and pleasant to have around. I'm looking forward to working with them to waterproof other areas of the rooftop to ensure this issue is fully resolved. Late in the pregnancy, it dawned on us that we should probably get a pet door to ease the burden of opening and closing the yard door for our dog. We arranged a time for the team to install it. “If Yelp had a 10 point scale, I'd give this a 7 instead of an 8 like the 4/5 states. So treat this like a 3.5/5. I contacted Jairo after seeing him post on FB that he's offering $300 per basic room. Being that we just needed a quick paint job done in two rooms, I decided to get him out for a quote. He quoted us $350 for our small room that needed a color change (multiple coats), and $450 for our master bedroom. Being that I thought his prices were reasonable and true enough to his advertisement, I decided to go with him. Paint and tape was provided by me. He finished both rooms very expeditiously, was very respectful of our time, and did a solid enough job. I had to redo some areas close to the bottom trim, but overall, it only took me 10-15 minutes of time to shore it up. My one complaint is that there were two noticeable blobs, one nickel sized, one quarter sized of the gray paint on the carpet. It looked like he tried to spot clean it, but it did not come out. We noticed it the next morning and found some methods to try to remedy the situation, but it's not entirely out. I wish he pointed it out to us immediately so maybe we could have gotten the stain out entirely. If you're looking for someone quick and will get the job done, Jairo does a good enough job for the price he offers.“
