I would take the small flurry of 1-star reviews with a grain of salt - frankly they look kind of fake to me (notice how some are people who don't even live in VA - how often when you're out of state do you get a haircut?). The lady who cut my hair (I think the owner) did a fine job. I don't gather her English is very strong, but who cares? She's nice, I can walk in and not wait forever, and the prices are very reasonable. Contrast that to the place just around the corner from them that wants $55 for a basic haircut! I literally laughed out loud and left that place. This might not be the place for some fancy or trendy freak show style, but if you want a good simple haircut at an affordable price, IMO it's a good place to go.

I am very sad to leave this place due to moving away, but I make sure I always come get a haircut when I am in town. I use to live in the short pump area and came here one time, that was enough to know they do excellent work!

They are fast in what they do, very precise and take diligent care to provide their customers with a great hair cut. I'm very simple person, buzz cut with a high tight, 0 sides, 3 top. But let me say, she does not waste any time nor do they take any shortcuts. When someone is taking their time on such a quick hair cut, it shows their passion. I got my hair relayered from Jin. I was definitely happy! It's hard for me to find someone to touch my hair. I will return to get my hair done again. Hair color is next. And of course it's always nice seeing Catherine. Such a lovely woman and always makes us feel welcome.
