Excellent care.Previous to my visit to Dr. Gonce, I had a terrible experience with a rude, dismissive doctor at another clinic in the Pantops area, Horizon; Not knowing what to expect since it was my first ever eye exam, he disregarded my sensitivity to bright light due to a severe PTSD response it caused, (despite my explaining this before the exam even began); so I was very nervous to have my eyes examined again--fearful almost. But my experience at Dr. Gonce's office was completely the opposite. Each and every one of the staff were so friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly, putting me at total ease. The technician Austin addressed my concerns with care and sincerity-- I could not have had a better experience. A nice, clean office and convenient location to boot. I would highly recommend making appointments early, he is popular and books way out-- I waited months to get in (but that's a good thing when you know the doctor is in demand!). “Note: This is not Visonworks. This is an independent practice that shares office space with Visionworks. They do not supply glasses or contacts; you go over to Visionworks for that.The front office staff is very accommodating. I got a contact lense fitting, and after the visit while checking with the ladies at the front desk, it turns out that that service was not covered by my insurance with their practice. So, instead of making me pay for it, they just took back my contact lens prescription and didn't charge me. Now, I can go somewhere else that covers a contact lens fitting. Overall, super accommodating and kind staff. They did a great job helping me.“

Dr. Easton was very thorough with the eye exam. She explained everything and answered all our questions without rushing us out the door.
We were able to order my husband's glasses and they came in fairly quickly. He hasn't had any issues with them.
