Has never mattered how seemingly insignificant (guinea pig) or ridiculous (bloated chicken) the issue, the staff and especially Dr. Bray always handle everything with sensitivity, care, and discernment. And as a bonus, the fees always feel aligned with the service, so we've never left feeling like we got fleeced (ha) or sold a bill of goods. The experience there always feels like helping your animal, and helping you help your animal, is the first and only priority, and that fosters total peace of mind when entrusting your pet's welfare to their care. Best vet in Albemarle County. We've had experience with other vets in the county for over 30 years. Dr. Bray and his staff are kind, knowledgeable, professional and just plain great. A real veterinarian, the kind you hardly find anymore. No pressure to sell you products or services you don't need. No "we're only in it for the money". We couldn't be more satisfied.

My five month old puppy broke her tibia. I took her to an emergency vet and they referred me to this place. I highly recommend they got me in within three days. Gabby has had surgery and seems to be doing well.
