“After having a "not so great" experience with our master bathroom remodel, we proceeded with caution when selecting a contractor to build our home gym. It was a frustrating process that we refused to rush, and it ended up taking us months before we felt we had found "the one." We were shocked at how often we felt that we were burdening contractors to quote us for the work. “Colonial Contracting Inc. (CCI) has been AMAZING to work with. Specifically Eric Martin and Joe Salubaugh!!! First off, I reached out to them after we experienced hail damage due to a hail storm during summer of 2022 and they helped us immensely with coordinating the claim with our home insurance company, Erie. Erie, of course initially denied our claim and CCI responded by coming out and doing all the diligence of taking pictures, videos, and documenting everything we needed in order to push back on Erie's initial assessment. After an initial few months of unresponsiveness on the part of Erie, they finally approved our claim for a mere fraction of the total damage. We then spent many more months "battling" with Erie in order to be fully compensated for the full damage done by hail. CCI held our hands every step of the way, spent many hours working with us and provided all the necessary documentation that we could then forward on to Erie in full support of our claim. After over 9 months of battling with Erie, they finally approved the full amount of our loss, and this was attributed 100% to the good work that Eric and his team did. They stuck with every step along the way.

Once we got the project kicked off, which consisted of roofing, siding, gutters, downspouts, and metal wrapping around exterior wood trims and fascia, Eric and Joe were fully accessible every step along the way. They managed the project from start to finish and worked with the subcontractors to ensure quality work. Even when we ran into some issues with the work (which were very few and far between) Eric was extremely responsive and made everything right without excuse or hesitation.

“Josue Garcia of Garvera Custom Renovations came highly and specifically recommended by a friend who worked at a local building supply company. We had been needing to replace our basic old deck which existed when we purchased the home. We needed not only something new but we wanted something solidly built and designed to make more sense of our yard space to increase better traffic flow and functionality. With our basic wants/desires, Josue drew up plans that fit what we were looking for. As the project started and progressed, Josue discovered existing problems that really needed to be corrected and we agreed to proposed modifications to the scope of work to include other add-ons that just enhanced the overall project. The project was a fairly large job but Josue and his team worked like clockwork. Very fast and efficient, the project was completed very close to schedule - a little more time added due to modifications and additions. What I have to say is that on top of loving our new deck, beautiful garage entry way/backdoor, side walkway and custom shed, we are so pleased to have had Josue come to do this project for us. Bill showed us the options, gave suggestions, accommodated our requests, detailed the steps involved and kept us updated along the process. “Easy Renovations did an amazing job building out the wall in my living room and installing a fireplace, large screen tv and soundbar. I think what’s important for this review is noting how professional they were throughout the project. Kayla, who is the company co-founder, initially met with me to understand what I was trying to accomplish, and what my concerns were with the project (timing, cost, and symmetry). She spent a considerable amount of time designing the wall according to my specifications and helped me understand details that I had not even considered. Eric, her co-founder, and husband drew out the wall in detail so that we could see exactly what the re-built wall would look like. I am not sure if it was then, or when they covered my whole living room in plastic to prevent dust, that I knew their work was going to exceed my expectations. It did, and it is so spectacular that you cannot tell that the new wall was not always there. They matched every detail in symmetry and color and added very professional lighting.
