“When someone comes out to your brand new subdivision, and stands outside in the "lightning and pouring rain, that we had on July 26th, and takes pictures of our side yard that needs two French drains that will connect two houses too close together, and the downspouts are aimed in toward each other. Results: eventual foundation water damage.Scott Johnston, their sales / inspector, knew, when getting soaked, that our original design and estimated date to do the job had to be modified.Bottom line: the job was completed the next day, with the modifications, at the original price to a perfect job. After 4 days and another light rain, you could not see the seam in the sod, that was hand dug for 60 feet.PS. We are now replacing our undersized gutters and downspouts. Scott knows gutters also. Time to Pay- it- forward.“

“One day soon, Google will have to make an entire book of reviews for Brains and Brawn. Yes, they are that great! Nick Emmons and his crew just can't be beat. He is on top of every appt and even texts when they're on their way. Punctuality is golden to them and to their customers....myself being over the moon happy with them. My yard had been fairly destroyed by a teen I'd given the chance to do all yard work for the summer. Never again. Prior to that, my yard was pristine, but after, a disaster. Then I found Nick. The fix for my yard was certainly not a 1-day job even with excavating done, but boy, it was worth every single cent of his competitive prices. My grass is so lush and beautiful now that the urge to drop to the ground and roll from one end to the other is overwhelming. He works right along with his crew for hours. He does exactly what you want/need and gives suggestions where needed. Nick is the most genuine, gracious and honest business owner I've ever met, you can count on him and you can believe I'm not letting him go. Ever. You won't, either. “I am the neighbor referenced in the review from Mr. Shaheer, his review is completely absurd. I pay for the services from Southern Landscaping and have been nothing but pleased. They have always cut all of MY property since I pay for the services. If there was an issue with the way they cut my grass I wish you would come to me since I am the payor of the service and am 100% satisfied. I have never had any of their workers be "rude or impolite" to me. They have been nothing but helpful and respectful of my service needs. They use a blower and grass clippings are blown into the street or towards the back of my house. If there has been some wind blown grass clippings on someone else's yard its a shame I wasn't contacted about this directly. Southern Landscaping is awesome, however they cannot control the wind/weather. The negative review is from someone who doesn't even use their services. Ridiculous! Give thema callif you want great customer service and any type of yard work done! Highly recommend!“

“Eric is the epitome of the American small business owner. I called him to help me fix a drainage issue I was having in my yard that was causing damage to my garage. He was easy to get in contact with. He promptly came over to give me an estimate, and he was the one who showed up to do the work. His estimate was higher than others, but that was because he proposed a more permanent solution. His knowledge was evident, and his solution, while more expensive, was what we really wanted. This was not even presented as an option by other quotes. In a business environment that seems to be a race to the bottom with high overhead, choose Eric. You won’t get all the flash, but you’ll get expert work at a reasonable price.“
