I would give these ladies 10 stars if I could! Kara consistently gave me the best haircuts of my life! I regularly did highlights/lowlights with Kara and unlike previous salons I always left exactly with what I wanted and knew I could trust her to have me leave with my curls looking their best!! They also have the best prices in town (even affordable for me as a grad student) and my only regret is not finding them sooner.
Jere was absolutely fantastic after having a really rough week chopping my hair due to having a mental brakedown I walked in there with a lot of anxiety he was so nice and had a sense of humor took his time went into detail he did everything and beyond what I asked for beyond happy how it turned out! I’ve been seeing Melinda for many years now and I have never had a bad service! However, on Friday I had my first scalp facial with her and I think that might be my new favorite service! Not only was it relaxing it has relieved my dry itchy scalp and product buildup! I would recommend frequent scalp facials if you’re a big dry shampoo user like me!

Just had a lovely haircut and style by Lili. She is very attentive to what the client wants, works with the client to ensure they’re happy, has great technique (and THE most amazing shampoo fingers!) and goes the extra bit to make sure you’re feeling beautiful and sharp when you leave. Lili is not my normal stylist at Char Marie and I was a little hesitant to find a new stylist while my my regular stylist was out, but Lili is top notch and I’d recommend her to anyone without hesitation. I’ll be glad to see her again for a fresh cut!
Depends on the stylist if you get a good haircut. Sometimes you get the crown area shaved off, not cool. But there are 3 stylists I do like the way they cut hair.
I am so grateful that I found such an amazing hair salon in the Blacksburg area. My stylist Victoria is such a caring and talented individual. She is extremely personable and I have never left the salon unhappy. If you want beautiful hair, go here!!!!
I had a bad experience here the lady that (CUT) my hair did a really bad job ........went to my car and looked at it and was like hell no so I walked back in .

My son and I came into this barbershop today, to get my son ready for his Junior year in high school! We left completely satisfied! My son hadn’t had his haircut in over six months, not only did he smile brighter than I’ve seen him smile in a long time. He was so happy with his haircut next thing I know he’s posting selfies! I have been going to Brownstone Barbers for years and always felt that I was being treated fairly. However, this is graduation week and the rules must be different. I went for a haircut and the waiting area was crowded with students. I put my name on the list as always. After about 50 minutes, I noticed that some of the students who came in after me were being called for their haircuts. I went up to the counter and noticed that there was a star in front of my name and that 4 people after me had been called. The styist apologized and said that sometimes that happens. That is BS. Was I targeted as not being a student and students came first? Was I to wait until the waiting area was empty? If you are not a student, be forewarned.
My boyfriend got his haircut here and it looks perfect. He also complimented the atmosphere and people of the place.They know what they are doing.

I’ve been coming to Top Nails for years and I will never go anywhere else! I quite literally drive a little under an hour to come here because of my experience. The shop itself is very clean and has a great environment with movies to watch while you relax. My nail visions are always brought to life and I can genuinely say I’ve never left feeling disappointed! They offer different types of pedicures aside from basic such as scented or jelly. I’ve gotten regular polish, dip powder, and gel polish. I’ve also had acrylic nails and the gel x nail extensions. They offer waxing services as well that I always get along with my nails. The staff is absolutely incredible at what they do! The photos of my nails below are done by Twe! Definitely a great place if you’re looking to treat yourself or make a routine appointment.

As a visitor in Blacksburg, I asked some students where they recommended that I go for a pedicure and foot massage. Hands-down, this was the right place. Walked in without an appointment on such short notice, and still such a welcoming atmosphere and very kind staff. I believe Bethany squeezed me in, she was amazing! Marisa is hands done the best at a stab! She makes you comfortable lets you know the whole process and what’s she’s doing the whole entire time and I loved that aspect! Will def be going back soon! And the vibe in there is everything and the jewelry this girl has got all the options you’d want! She also makes sure that everything is even as possible and place in the correct spot!

We have been using Bobby of Blacksburg Plumbing and Heating for over 20 years at our home and office. They always resolve the problem and come immediately when called with an emergency. They work wonderful with the town and projects go smoothly. I would not use anyone else.
Blue Ridge Design Build finished our basement for us and we couldn't be any happier! They might be a bit on the pricier side, but they are absolutely worth every penny! They give you extensive, individualized attention during the design phase to understand exactly how you want your space to look. For the actual construction, they pull all the necessary permits and make sure everything is up to (usually exceeding) the necessary code; their quality is absolutely unmatched. They were working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week until they were done, and we had frequent meetings with them to go over what they had done and what they were still working on. We had a couple minor concerns throughout the project and as soon as we voiced them, they were resolved within a day or two! Our basement will truly be a special space for decades to come and it wouldn't have been possible without Blue Ridge Design Build. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars; we can't thank you enough!!!

The guys took out a tree stump, dug a hole and planted our new tree. They were careful not to mark up the yard much and cleaned up when they were done. Really took their time and did a very nice job - replaced the rock landscaping, mulched, watered. Thanks guys!

When I needed urgent care for a chronic condition, Dr. Keats worked around her schedule to get me in as soon as possible. She provides guidance on prevention, ongoing maintenance, and has referred me to other specialists when it was needed. Terrific chiropractor and a great person!

I'm grateful to Dr. Tessi and to Amber for helping me walk through those dreadful weeks, for answering my questions, counseling me, letting me show up often without an appointment, figuring out a course of action, and then helping me in the months after Slider's death.
