Giving this a 4 because the other two barbers were doing an amazing job but make no mistake, Rebecca gave me possibly the worst haircut I've ever gotten. Said she was in a rush to meet up with a friend and the work reflected that. She absolutely messed me up, please don't make the same mistake I did.

I would say by far the best haircut place in Blacksburg! They free small drinks in a cooler. They sell and show off haircare products. It has a sort of old timey feel, but that just shows the quality they put in their cuts. All of the staff seem to be really well versed in cuts and take their time and are very friendly as well! Just as a heads up sometimes cuts can take much longer than usual, but that's due to their quality that they put in. Prices are reasonable as well for that quality. Mr. Johnson is a Blacksburg icon who has been cutting hair since 1952. He is a Korean war vet and a rare find. He was personally responsible for the hair of every Cadet at Virginia Tech for more than 40 years starting around 1956. It should be your pleasure to sit in his chair and hear him talk about life in Blacksburg while he gives you one of the finest haircuts you will ever have. Plan on sitting for a while because a good cut shouldn't be rushed, and he will not. The folks that work in this salon are all approved by Mr. Johnson and any of them will do him justice.
