“I had the waist of two pairs of jeans taken in. One pair were definitely rejects from the Levi's store because the waist was so awkwardly large, but I got a great deal on them at Marshall's so I figured what the heck. The better fitting of the two came out great, and she dang near worked a miracle taking in the pair of Levi's. She must have had to rebuild the entire waist. Very happy with the results. A bit pricey (though I have no reference), about $30 a pair, which is more than I paid for the pants. But honestly they fit so well that I'll save myself the headache of continuing to buy more pants that fit in the thighs, but are too big in the waist. Just fyi, she doesn't call when items are ready to be picked up IME, but I live close and just swing by around the expected completion date.“

“I reviewed Zips a few weeks ago and gave them 1 star. After my review, Elizabeth from Zips asked me to stop by when I got a chance. I spoke to her and showed her the cuts to my 3 pair of pants. She said that she didn't know what happened and then took me on a tour of the machines they use and showed me all of the equipment. She couldn't explain what happened, but she offered a credit to my account that was fair! Ahhh, customer service like it was back in the day!“

“I just want to say props to the cashier for being professional while handling another customer that was in front of me. This lady in front of me is STINGY. She’s asking for service for a delicate and very detailed Indian dress, so of course it will be more expensive. The lady was able to haggle down to a 10% discount after about 5 minutes of talking the price down. 10% is nothing to scoff at for this kind of job, yet she greeds for more. The cashier did a great job at explaining the amount of work this dress entails, and why they can not go lower. Which is when I rudely interrupted, and asked the lady if she was broke. Of course she’s offended and storms off. It’s my mistake for being rude, but I did not have the patience to wait another 10 minutes for the lady to argue with the clerk.I’m a regular for dry cleaning here, and they consistently do a good job. Very rarely do they make mistakes, but they will make sure things are right at the end of the day.
