“Due to my globetrotting life, I've had my hair cut on different continents. Hayadi Salon (and a hairdresser in Paris that I happened to pass by years ago) are hands-down the best hair salon that understands my hair and not just follows some silly trends. Zaid and his team are wonderful. I always left the salon beyond satisfied. Whenever I'm in the area to visit my family, I'd make sure to drop by to get a trim or some coloring. I also love their products and got myself some shampoo to bring back to Switzerland.“

“Can't beat the price! And everyone I spoke with was exceedingly friendly, despite the definite language barrier. (Most of the staff are Korean.) My stylist's English was pretty limited, but the three teachers/supervisors who stopped by all had a stronger command of English, so I'm confident that I could've discussed anything with them that I needed to--but I didn't need to. :) Prices went up in fall 2023; it's now $9.99 for a women's haircut. (I think it's $7.99 for men, but I can't remember for sure.) They have multiple signs making sure customers understand that all the stylists are in training; everything is very transparent. My hair is a little shorter than I originally asked for, but it's still past my shoulders, so no big deal. (It's probably partly a perception thing too, since I asked for layers, which can make the overall length feel a little shorter than it is.) The teacher came by at the end and carefully examined the cut, snipping a little bit extra in some places to make sure everything was totally even. Was it the most advanced haircut I've ever had? No. But that's perfectly fine with me, and well worth the steeply discounted price. Plus, there's no need for an appointment, which is convenient. Oh! And they now accept credit cards, FYI. (An earlier review said it was cash only, but that's not the case anymore, apparently.) I'll definitely be going back!“

“My sister and I got a haircut here and it came out pretty good! It was $25 total with wash included, getting your hair dried and styled is extra of course but I didn't mind leaving my hair natural. We didn't have an appointment and just walked in there was only 2 customers so we didn't wait at all. I'm going back for straightening treatment so will update to see how that goes!“

“ok, of all my 20 years in this neighborhood, I've never came across a young lady who can handle trendy haircuts. It really is a breath of fresh hair when someone came from recent studies, background and with some updated knowledge of current styles, cutting techniques, etc. Please ask for Jisun! She gave me a new look and looks like I can rely on her to style my porcupine style hair. If you want a more modern/trendy haircuts for cheap but can't find a reliable stylist, she can help you out! 15/10 service as well. The first time I went I had a nice conversation with someone who was Vietnamese. All the staff are super friendly, easy to talk to, and are great at cutting hair. I went again recently and got my hair cut by someone else and was super satisfied with the results, possibly the best haircut I've gotten in a while.“
