“Victor (the owner) is a wonderful guy. I had a pretty awful experience with a dishonest fencing company last year that left me in a difficult lurch and an unfinished project that needed some specialty in handling due to the complexity of the job and the various number of prior sub contractor that had worked in the space to prep it for fencing.

I had several other fencing companies come out and bid for the job. All of them commented on the complexity of the job, but also left me feeling uneasy that they could do it with a great degree of confidence and quality. Being fairly handy myself, I also knew these other contractors were overstating the complexity and cost of the job as a scare tactic to make me feel like I needed to pay them a premium to do the job. For example, many of the commented how hard it would be to match the existing fence material (even though the material is a pretty standard clay style vinyl fence) or commenting how hard it would be to build on top of my existing retaining wall (even though the retaining wall was made of concrete specifically to build a fence on and preset with aluminum posts that the vinyl fence sleeve posts could slot over). Victor came and immediately put my mind at ease. He walked me through everything that he would do to finish the job and exuded a great deal of enthusiasm and confidence that his team could easily do the job. It was no surprise that Victor’s bid came in quicker, but also at half the price of the other joker companies that tried to take advantage of me. He showed up sooner than he promised, and they finished in less than 2 days.

Aside from the quality of the work, Victor and his crew are honest. Victor is a great guy, and I felt like I was doing business with a friend and someone that truly takes pride in what he does rather than a business transaction that was simply looking to make money off me at top margin. Of all the people that have worked on my property, Vargas fencing is top tier and I would recommend them to anyone.“
