I had always had bad experiences getting my hair done throughout my lifetime except for one.

After losing my business,husband,house, and dogs in Charlotte, NC, I had to move to where my family resides here in Utah for support and help.
For 5 months, I let myself go and felt like I was ugly and old, basically a defeatist

I got a job that may lead to a new career, and i wanted to shed off my look for a new start in life. Not having great experiences as of late, i was hesitant to even get my hair done because it would be a miracle if I could change my look to the point that I actually felt good again.

LvlUp found a way to get me in for an appointment before the start date of my new job.
My stylist was Meagan Schern, made me feel comfortable and heard. She looked at my knappy hair and the greys poking out, a m do together we made a plan.
I put my trust in her, and that was the best decision.
She listened to what i wanted and used her Mad Skills and went to work on my travesty.

Two and a half hours later, that actually flew by, i was looking in the mirror seeing a new beautiful person, who looked much younger.

I couldn't hold back the tears of happiness!
It was the first time in a long time that i looked in the mirror and liked what i saw.

The whole salon was vested in my journey, and it made the whole experience the best one of my life as well as one that i truly needed to move forward.

I thank Meagan for her amazing talents and the whole staff with all my heart.

“Usually this place does just fine with what I need, but I’ve found that they’ve cut back on standards a little. Some are incapable of listening to directions, and even cut very inconsistent. Maybe more training needs to be done, because my last 3-4 times have not been nice. But I give it 4 stars because they were good in the past!“
