“My mom stumbled on Eyes On Texas (EOT) looking for a doctor to assess my brother for the Army. She loved Dr. Kessner. For my entire adult life I've only gotten eye exams through the DoD medical system, so I decided to give EOT a try. Dr. Kessner blew me out out of the water! He took his time, and made sure I did to! He answered all my questions, made me laugh, and checked in -- asking me if I was satisfied with my experience. If I had any problems with his prescription he promised to set it right. I love Dr. Kessner! I recommend EOT to anyone with eyes and time to listen!“
“Had an appointment for the first time with Dr Jotie and was an amazing experience! I was getting cold feet before the appointment and almost canceled but so grateful I didn't! She spent quality time getting to know my eye history and was able to figure out what my true prism actually is! I had intraocular implants 2 yrs ago and have never been able to see clearly due to my double vision. Dr Jotie fixed that today...her perseverance, patience, knowledge and determination paid off! “The optometrist was condescending when answering questions. When I asked for her to simplify things because her technical terminology was not making any sense, she was clearly annoyed but still did not know how to explain things more simply and continued to complicate things with medical terminology. I feel like the exam was over complicated and unnecessarily stressful. People want to understand the numbers you are throwing out, especially since we are being given options between glasses/contacts and can not make an informed decision when we dont completely understand the information being given. I would highly suggest learning how to communicate the information you are trying to give people in a way that even a 5 year old can explain. We get you went to school and are educated... there is no need to overcompensate by talking above your patients level of comprehension.“

“I highly recommend Dr. Sitterele for all your vision needs. My 11 year old daughter was told she needed glasses. She went in scared and anxious and came out confident and smiling. The office staff made her feel so welcome, especially the sweet tech who did her measurements and kept her smiling. Everyone was kind and non-judgmental, and the doctor educated us on the different treatment options to prevent further vision loss which I didn’t even know existed.
