Reasonable cost.Longer review version:I woke up the other day, the COLDEST day of the year so far, to find that the furnace was not working. Of course it breaks down on the coldest day! Anyway, I was trying to remember the name of the company that had installed it 12 years ago, and drew a blank. Then I remembered that I had seen a Sherlock Homes truck in the neighborhood, and that his company is based in the area. So I went to the review page for Sherlock Homes Heating/AC and I was impressed, 5 stars overall. I read through and every one was very happy with their work - well, almost everyone. There were a couple of people who thought he was the worst person in the world, according to their reviews. It gave me pause, so I continued with his history, and it was 5 stars across the board.I put a lot of stock in online reviews, to me it’s pretty much the only way to see if a service company is legitimate or not. Their history, except for 2 or 3 reviews during one period, were outstanding, so I decided to take a chance and called them. Mr Denardis, the owner, answered and when I outlined my problem, told me he’d be out within the hour. That cheered me up, as my house was getting increasingly colder. He made it out within the hour and proceeded to work, and within 20 minutes had a diagnosis and a repair proposal that I found reasonable, and I asked him to go ahead with the repairs. Within 2 hours he had my system fixed and also completely inspected and the bottom line for repair and overall system inspection was less than it costs me to get a plumber to knock on my front door, much less fix anything.The furnace is now working great, and I’m very happy with Mr. Denardis’ work. I will not hesitate to use his company in the future. On a side note, Mr. Denardis is friendly and personable, and I guess some people were put off by that, to account for their critical review comments. If you want a reasonably priced furnace/AC repair by someone who takes his work seriously, but with a lighter touch in his customer dealings, I can recommend Sherlock Homes Heating/AC without hesitation!“

“We were visiting my daughter's family from California. And I asked Veteran Air to come out and check out my daughter's system in Spring Branch Tx. It had been a few years since she had it checked. I told her at my house we have the system checked out once a year. These guys replied to my inquiry on Yelp right away and showed up when they said they would the next day. The tech (who was a Veteran) was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained to my daughter everything he did and recommended she do. She was very pleased with everything and with their military discount it turned out to be less than we estimated. It's hard to find good reliable contractors for anything so finding these guys was a blessing. All based on their other Yelp reviews. We were very pleased with this Veteran Air and we highly recommend them.“

Called Aire Tech and they came out to inspect our system. They found it was just a clogged drain pipe that needed to be flushed. Extremely affordable fix vs. going in to debt for a new AC system. They are life savers! I won’t call anyone else for service from here on out!“
