Quick review version: 1. Quick response. 2. Accurate diagnosis and repair 3. Reasonable cost. Longer review version: I woke up the other day, the COLDEST day of the year so far, to find that the furnace was not working. Of course it breaks down on the coldest day! Anyway, I was trying to remember the name of the company that had installed it 12 years ago, and drew a blank. Then I remembered that I had seen a Sherlock Homes truck in the neighborhood, and that his company is based in the area. So I went to the review page for Sherlock Homes Heating/AC and I was impressed, 5 stars overall. Nothing short of amazing. A day prior to another big freeze to hit south Texas our heater just stopped working. But Brian was able to have our heater up and running in no time! He was knowledgeable, passionate, and very respectable. From the moment I opened my door to the moment I closed my door, I was in awe of Brian’s knowledge and service. I may have had way too many questions for him but he never once looked tired of them. I look forward to working with Brian in the future! Keep up great work sir! The Garza Family.

For the most part, unless you or a loved one do HVAC, you are at the mercy of your selected HVAC "professional.” At least some AC companies have proved to be unprofessional by focusing their business on sales over technical accuracy. How do they do it? There's a big gap between truth and lie, within that lies* the grey area of making something seem bigger or smaller than it really is. Just like a captain at the helm of a ship, they can steer you in the direction of replacing something that may not be in your best interests... but theirs. It will take a HVAC Sherlock Holmes to uncover the intricacies of the diagnostic accuracy, to the actual value and importance of making the repair.
