Wish I’d “found” Anthony’s sooner! Didn’t know until I had first appt that my insurance will pay all but $5 for 20 visits per year. Friend went in and gets 25 FREE each year. Will be happy to full price after the 20 run out because I am getting Adjustment, 1hr massage or 30mins Corrective(?) Therapy + Electric Stimulation [for my $5]. Gladly pay full price after my 20. *Referrals receive 1 hr Massage or other service.
I spoke to a lady on the phone. She asked if I wanted to come on the weekend for an appointment to get a massage and chiropractic. She said the massage appointment would be with a male and asked if that would be okay. I said I prefered a female. So she booked me with a female for today 9/26/2022. So I walk in and no one acknowledged me to tell me they would be right with me. After a few minutes, a lady said she could check me in on the other side. I felt kind of rushed filling out the paperwork but she seemed nice. I am escorted back by a guy that was nice and shook hand and told me to follow him into the back room. He never told me his name or told me what he did there. I didn't know if it was a chiropractor or an assistant. I go into the room and it's the massage room. He was nice and told me the instructions. After a couple mins, I came out of the room and see him. He asked if something was wrong. I told him I was sorry but I requested a female. It was EXTREMELY awkward. So I go to the front and let them know and she said, "Did you request a Female?" I said, "Yes, with a lady over the phone." After being embarrassed and awkward, I told her I was going to cancel the visit. Pretty bad experience after a fail from staff on communication. I'm not sure how that even happens? I wanted to get adjusted and a relaxing massage and they just gave me more stress. Horrible!
