The technician claims that we needed Freon in our ac unit which is a closed system but said there was no leak in our unit. Charged us almost $500.00. I think they just wanted our money because we use Landmark Home Warranty and the service call would only pay $75.00. With all the heat we’ve been having, I believe it was just the capacitor which we’ve had to have replaced before.
***I am editing my previous review. The technician who serviced our ac unit contacted me today. We spoke about my concerns, and he was quite gracious in his explanations. He clarified that there was actually a leak and that he did put a stop leak ingredient as well as freon in our unit....read full review
