I was looking for some other activity to be involved with and hesitantly attended my first class assuming I wouldn't like it and move on to something else. “A great dojo for both kids and adults alike that teaches traditional Okinowan Karate with a focus on both physical and character development. I have a 7 year old and 15 year old that attend the Kai as do I. I have spent 23 years studying Isshin-Ryu and this Dojo has got it right. There are a very large number of black belts who have been rigorously tested to ensure they are fully knowledgeable in the art which translates to students getting the expert personal attention needed to progress in their development. The Kai and this dojo are run by Soke Kristensen who is a 10th degree black belt and both a World Martial Arts and Isshin-Ryu Hall of Fame inductee.“

“We love KTI and I would recommend them to anyone! Master Landers is a great instructor and my son learned so much from her. The owners Master and Mrs. Monroe are very invested in the children and really helped my son to focus more and improve his behavior. My son was in the after school program which is affordable (less than many daycares in the area) and you get a lot more from the program. He was able to participate in the regular classes and excelled, earning several belts in a six month period. There's also a family class available which is awesome. Thank you KTI for everything!“
