Most recent was a shoulder injury where I could barely move my arm without pain. 20 minutes in and I was moving my arm in circles. “Hi, my name is Shabana, I would like to share my wonderful experience with Dr.Stephany at Thrive. Around 3 years back I fell on my Dish washer cover by mistake, after two years I came down with an awful Sciatica pain that crippled me and I was in intense pain, after MRI I found that I have 5 Disc herniations from L1 to S1 and also Spinal Stenosis, everyone told me that I have to do surgery and success rate is not much. I prayed to Allah Almighty and Majesty, day and night to find me an alternate route, after one year of praying finally Allah answered my prayer and I saw Dr.Stephany and asked her if she could do anything for me, mind you by that time I already saw Physical Therapist, massage therapist, different Chiropractors, Acupuncture and they all told me we will try otherwise you have to see a surgeon. I saw on net that Gonstead Chiropractic can only handle Disc issues without surgery, so Stephany told me that she can help me, by that time I was in so much pain that every night I would wake up by midnight and could not lie on my bed due to severe hip and Sciatica pain. Any way just in my second visit I slept at night till two then three and after 5th visits, I could sleep through whole night, I thanked Allah for guiding me to the right place. I am still with her as she told me I have to make 36 visits to see a complete recovery, it's a long way but with the permission of God it's the right way. “Dr. Allen and Dr. Ward are fantastic. They really make you feel heard. I have been seeing them for years getting adjustments, massage work, acupuncture, stretching over at Stretch Zone and for functional medicine. Randee is more gentle with smaller more focused adjustments while Dean goes straight for the kill! Both are fantastic at what they do. The acupuncture has been fantastically helpful as well! Randee does cupping which is very helpful to get blood flow to my worst areas before needing. The staff is very friendly and competent. The one star off is that I wish they included a little PT type guidance to help with getting over a problem forever vs. letting a patient plateau and always needing more. Every other Chiro I have seen over the years has offered something to help you not need them forever. They also do not use electric stem therapy and heat before or after an adjustment which helps me relax and get a better adjustment. Also getting a massage from Steven is misleading. It's more of a release like trigger point therapy maybe? He helped me after three sessions but it was hard to relax with him talking the entire time and trying to sell me his water he loves! Nice guy but I can't relax if someone is talking to me or asking questions to get to know me the whole time!“
