“I've been working with Matt and the Terra Turf Landscape team for many years. My initial project was having a French drain system installed to control flooding in my backyard and add shrubbery and color to my front flower beds. That project in 2021 resolved the ponding and rain water runoff that was flooding my yard. Fast forward to 2025 and I again needed Matts assistance with drainage due to a new patio that created additional drainage problems. The Terra Turf team added on additional surface drains to the existing French drain system and also put down about 700 sqft for beautiful Palisades Zoysia sod. The landscaping crew is just the best group I've had work on my yard in the 21 years I've lived in the house. They are respectful of my property, show up on time, and get the job done right the first time. Matt really knows his stuff and ensures the projects are completed to the customers satisfaction. “DOES NOT RECOMMEND Disappointing Experience – No Visible Results Despite Professional Service We truly wish we could leave a more positive review, but unfortunately, our experience with Gecko Green Lawn Care has been deeply disappointing. While the technicians who visited our property were courteous and professional, the product and promised results fell far short of expectations. We were assured that our lawn would become the greenest in the neighborhood. Despite following watering guidelines and having a fully operational sprinkler system, our yard continues to struggle with brown patches and persistent weeds. We voiced our concerns to both customer service and the technicians after each visit, but were repeatedly reassured that visible improvement was coming. Unfortunately, that improvement never materialized. After investing $420.00 in this service, we saw no benefit. In fact, our untreated neighbor’s lawn looks healthier and more vibrant than ours. We have documented our lawn’s condition with timestamped photos following each treatment (1st: 03/05/25, 2nd: 04/04/25, 3rd: 05/08/25). We strongly believe in paying for quality service—but in this case, we did not receive it. We are asking Gecko Green to stand by their satisfaction guarantee by either issuing a refund or taking action to correct the situation. Fingers crossed—we will update this review if the company responds appropriately. Update: partisl credit of $120 was issued and the option to pay extra for someone to test out lawn- no thanks and we're still unsatisfied.“
