“I have had two haircuts with Chris And they have been absolutely fantastic each time. The first time was for a beard, I have never been taught how to shave or maintain a beard, and he was absolutely wonderful at educating. He gave recommendations on what tools to use at no profit to himself and taught the different angles and different methods for actually maintaining a beard.
Extremely thorough and knowing what you want in a haircut and extremely gifted at conversation.
Let me preface this by saying the only time I hate talking more than during a haircut is at the dentist and usually love to be left alone while getting my haircut but not with Chris. Talking with Chris was entertaining and jovial, so much so that the haircut wasn’t long enough for us to finish our conversation - THATS HOW GOOD IT WAS. Extremely agreeable gentleman in short.“

“So glad to have found a straight up barber shop and the wait time was only a couple of minutes! For decades I've gone to either a salon or chain shop and paid too much as a result. And having lived near and driven by Pavillion Barbers for 10+ years that's a lot of missed opportunities.

Rick is a professional and recognizing me as a new client we struck a brief conversation as he welcomed me. After that I pointed to a picture of what I wanted and he went to work. Holding up the mirror to show me how it looked I asked him to go a little shorter on the sides and in less than a minute my haircut was done.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the clippers vac away the scratchy hairs that have always been a nuisance. Great invention by Rick. Looking forward to the next cut and getting to know him a little better because I know he has stories to tell.

Lastly, I'll see him before the next cut to get a few business cards if they are available so I can pass them out.

Clarification: I believe the cut was $20 plus a moustache trim and a hair product so it was about $30 total and I tipped on top of that.

Requested style: Short on the sides and longer on top. Almost a fade but I don't have much left on top.“
