“Signed up our German Shepard Onyx for the 21-day training.Absolutely phenomenal experience with Bulletproof Dog Training and with trainer Shelbie!At first, I was hesitant about sending him because I was afraid, he would turn into a robot and lose his personality but was reassured beforehand he would still be the same rambunctious dog but with obedience and manners. Shelbie assisted with alleviating the stress of being separated from by Onyx, which is more a family member rather than a pet, with her excellent communication. She would send daily communication of the progress as well as photos and videos to show us his progress. During the turnover, Shelbie was extremely attentive and thorough, ensuring we knew how to continue the training at home. The training has made a significant difference. We no longer have to keep him in the kennel like before due to the constant jumping, and he no longer pulls on walks. “Arfordable Dog Training TestimonialI want to express my pleasure with the work that Arfordable Dog training in Converse Texas has done with my German Shepherd puppy Thorin Oakenshield. We started Thorin at Arfordable at just over 4 months old when he had completed his puppy vaccinations. Thorin is my 6th GSD, they are an intelligent, and at times challenging breed as they mature. Providing a positive environment for them is key to having a well-adjusted dog throughout their lives.The vast array of trainers working at Arfordable means that Thorin has gained experience being handled by multiple people all of whom are qualified, credentialed trainers. As part of the training process the dogs are create trained, socialized with full supervision, as well as obedience training. All the basics are covered, and the ability to progress to a high level of training is present. We elected to use a combination of twice a week board and train where Thorin received two training sessions along with socializing play sessions during per day. During the four-week beginning training Thorin attended two days of training per week, followed by a weekly group session, where I as the handler received training in dealing with Thorin and the desired behaviors. Each day’s training began with me able to provide input on what I was seeing, and working on, getting verbal feedback when picking him up from training about what he had worked on as well as any issues or things to work on between him and I. I also received a written report card by email detailing each of the days’ training sessions, including photos and videos from the session showing his progress.We followed up the basic training period with a monthly membership that includes a monthly hour of one-on-one training at our home or public area that may be challenging Thorin. The day training allowed us to focus on areas that were challenging Thorin, and the weekly group class allowed me to work with him directly with distractions from other dogs.The level of training, and commitment to continued development of subject matter expertise is evident by the level of continuing education, during my five months working with Arfordable, several of the staff have traveled as far as Chicago, and Kentucky for continuing education. When Thorin was struggling with crate aggression as other dogs moved by, Jessica Arfordables owner brought in her own dog to work with Thorin. As Thorin progressed staff took him to locations from local pet stores to Home Depot or parks to work on behavior and socialization. The real world outside the training facility exercises resulted in noticeable improvement and worked on issues such as loading and unloading from vehicles which at about 6 months suddenly became an issue for him.I believe in having professional guidance even on topics where I am very competent. Having been involved in competitive sports all my life, I have always had coaches, going to Arfordable is no different than my going to a golf or tennis pro, shooting coach, or driving instructor. As a future diabetic alert dog, it is paramount for Thorin to have solid obedience and excellent public manners. I feel my money is well spent at Arfordable.Art“

Had a cancerous growth removed on my dog and since the area was so small the doctor didn’t use external sutures purposely knowing that vet visits are a stressor for my dog. I greatly appreciated this as my dog does not get along with most other dogs so vet trips can be tricky with him.“

“The employees really took the time to care for my fur babies. My dogs are not always friendly nor do they always mind their manners. This did not stop them from helping me.My dogs have some major anxiety. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to give them their daily CBD at home. I realized when I got to their center. Luckily they had CBD. I have to say their CBD dog treats are absolutely fantastic!!! For my 60 lbs dog I gave 4 treats and for my 70 lbs dog I gave 5 treats. They worked wonders for my dogs. I highly recommend the CBD treats if you have high stress dogs.I personally loved the daily report I got with each of my dogs. It gave me the peace of mind I needed while I was away from my fur babies. I will definitely go back the next time I have to go out of town and my dogs can't go. Thanks y'all for taking such great care of my fur babies!!!“

If you are going to reserve an overnight or check in 2 or more, then PetParadise should take and give all the info they need on the reservation call. Please don't wait until you are trying to do a QUICK drive-by to bring up more time-consuming obstacles.BTW, I love talking about my dogs. If I'm not working that day, I promise NOT to go into a dedicated Express Lane - if they ever put one in!!“

“Honestly, I should have my dog leave this review because he loves it here. He's been going since he was 9 months old. With places like this you've got to let your pup get used to it and the staff. We've had challenges but this is the place I'm comfortable sending my dog. The price is fair and there are add-ons (bath, de-shed, individual play time, etc.). Great place for your canine friend!“
