“I came to San Antonio because my mom was hospitalized and not doing well at the time. I had to bring my puppy, Buddy but he wasn’t allowed in the ICU. I searched online and found Good Dog was located on the way to the hospital from my hotel.
It was amazing! Buddy was a bit nervous but after his initial “test” he was in!!! When I picked him up the young lady at the front desk told me how great Buddy was and shared how a few things about his day. I told my phone had died on the way and I had no way to navigate back to my hotel…she offered me their charging cable…way above what I expected! Buddy was so excited when we returned the next 3 days!!!!?
They made a stressful time so much easier! Thanks to all the staff❤️

“Boarded our baby there and we couldn’t be happier! What’s very unique about Hoff’s Hounds is that day play is included in the boarding rate. You can watch your doggo interact with other dogs and staff throughout their stay. The facility is clean and spacious. All staff are courteous and super friendly. Pricing is very reasonable. “Dr. Shannon is the best veterinarian we have ever had. We have a whole zoo at our house, and we trust her with each of our furry family members.
We’ve had our pets go through highs and true lows, and each time we’ve been more than comfortable with their care in Dr. Shannon’s hands. You can tell she loves what she does as well as each of her patients. She goes above and beyond, will literally get on the floor with your pet to make them comfortable, and has kind and patient energy.

“Great place to take your pup for a little spa treatment in their self wash station located in the lobby. Just like a professional groomer would use. It's only $15.⁰⁰ and there is shampóo, conditioner apron, towels, dryer and safety harnesses to prevent injury. Also the tub is positioned high with a dóor to allow your pup access. No appointment was necessary and there was no wait. Check out all the services provided online or ask when you go in. Clean modern and great staff. Highly recommend!“

I've updated my review to add the fifth star. I can't praise them enough. I could cry thinking about the care they provide for my dog. I am beyond thankful for Dr Smith and every employee there who seem to go out of their way in making ME feel comfortable about my dog and his care. I appreciate y'all taking care of my smallest family member and for always being so flexible with us.

Update: Almost 7 years since our first visit, and we now have two dogs. The staff continues to be amazing and patient with our family. I would like to highlight Jesus for always being so knowledgeable and professional and for remembering us.“

“We boarded our 4 dogs at North Star Animal Center and could not be happier with the experience! Lissa (the General Manager) and her staff were incredible. Receiving photos and updates from the team onsite was such a huge relief for us, to know that all four of our dogs were in good hands. Zeke is a four year-old miniature Aussie Shepherd, and ever since we’ve owned them for the last three years we’ve always given him just a trim and left him long hair. This time because of the extreme heat …we asked Sora, His stylus to clip him much shorter so that he could be comfortable when he goes outside.. She did a wonderful job. Zeke is very comfortable with her and he really appreciates her wonderful treatment. He looks beautiful. He was happy when I came to pick him up and Look like she had any bite marks on …just joking. He had a wonderful experience his mom and I appreciate the way he looks and the prices right wonderful, wonderful place. Wonderful people thank you so much.“
