“I couldn't have kinder words for Grimes Funeral Chapel. My grandmother lived in Kerrville for ages but had to come join us out-of-state in her last years. She outlived most people who knew her. And Grimes Funerals, specifically Llyn, was the kindest, most compassionate, and understanding person I could have ever hoped for. Not only did he remember her from them working church services years ago: he was truly there for her and her memory after she passed. Llyn took care of everything. He arranged getting her back to Texas to be placed next to my grandfather. He made sure the items that she loved were buried with her. He traveled with her to San Antonio. He arranged for a minister there and had songs sung and wrote words to be spoken about her life. He made sure she had the most beautiful flowers. He stayed for her service and celebrated for her when no one else in the area was there to remember her. Since my health prevents travel I was so heartbroken and distressed at first at the thought that she would be laid to rest alone... but she wasn't thanks to Llyn. I will never, in my life, forget this kindness and compassion. In a moment that I needed it more than anything, in the moment I needed for my grandmother to still feel remembered by others, he was there for me and her and is proof that there is such amazing goodness and compassion left in humanity.“
