I set an appointment for 10:40 am on 09/12/2023 and arrived at the exact time. The doctors office told me I was late and that my appointment was at 10:20 am. They refused to see me stating I would have to come back at 4pm. The doctor further called a couple days prior trying to say my insurance would not cover my visit despite my in network specifically being utmb. It was as if they were finding every reason not to see me.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR INFANT HERE! I scheduled a sick visit for my 6 month old because he was super congested, was hardly eating and was having trouble breathing. They did not test him for anything and said it was just a cold and to use a humidifier at night and it would help. That night it took a turn for the worse. He had a fever, refused to eat at all, stopped having wet diapers, and trouble breathing. I called the clinic again to ask what we should do and they said to bring him in. I asked if they would do anything different and I was told that we just needed to keep using a humidifier to clear his lungs and keep trying to feed him. I asked if we could get a nebulizer as I heard that helps and they refused! I scheduled an appointment at a different pediatrician, partners in care pediatrics in pearland. He tested him for everything and said he tested positive for RSV. He gave us a a nebulizer, prescribed medication, told us what to look for in case it got worse, and said we should probably take him to the hospital. 4 hours after that we took him to the ER and he stayed in the hospital for 3 days. This is not the first time that we have gotten no where with utmb. I will never recommend this place. I will never take my child here again. They are not here to care for child and infants, they are here for the money.

Absolutely hands down the worst doctors office I have ever experienced. Not only are the staff rude, but they are degrading. The front desk people will charge you a different amount for your co-pay every visit. I've had them try to charge up to $90 for a sick visit. It only leads me to believe that the resorption's are uneducated on the laws. Even after arguing with the staff they still make you wait, and hold up the process. It is illegal for any doctors office to refuse service especially over something like co-pays. I do not recommend this office to anyone unless you like to be haggled with with charged random amounts for your co-pay every visit. If this is the kind of crap you like, then this is the perfect place for you.
