My Panasonic microwave stopped working after five years and two repairmen I called referred me to Global Microwave Parts. I stopped in and the gentleman I spoke with looked at the microwave and told me that it would cost more to repair (min. $400) than what I paid or a replacement would cost ($250-$300). I just want to say that Leslie is outstanding, very responsive and very professional when it comes to customer satisfaction. I had a shipping issue, I emailed her and in less than 24 hours she responded as well as rectified the situation. Good customer service is hard to find. There isn't a sensible category for these guys. They are not general electricians. However what they are are unbelievably competent, friendly microwave repair people. Of course there is a story. Our microwave was installed (builtin) 12 years ago when we bought the house. One day it stopped working with a fairly dramatic flash. So what to do? Sharp doesn't make that model any more. No one makes one that will fit into the space exactly. So lots of (expensive sounding) cabinet woork to do if we buy a new one. Sharp says, "No parts available". So it was looking bleak chez seabird. And then we found these folks. Took it in yesterday. Picked it up today. $70 including tax. Installed it in the hole. Yup it works again. This is goodness, madame likes hot milk in her morning coffee, and it is easier in the microwave than the stove top. I was just glad to have the kitchen timer back!
