“I had a really good experience overall. Lucky for me my AC compressor died right before it cooled off for winter and I had no rush to get it replaced. I worked with John Cantu and he was great giving me many different options from several different manufactures. I had lots of questions from my research and he was always helpful and responded quickly. I never felt like I was being upsold and their price was actually cheapest I received. Other companies I got quotes from made me feel like I invited a used car salesman into my house. I got a completely new AC/Heater and air handler for a reasonable price. I didn't have to wait long for the installation and it was done in a single day. The plenum ducting above my air handler was much better than my previous installation, and they upgraded my gas line from a flex pipe to a hard pipe as required by current code. The wiring was also much tidier than before. I was going to pay cash for the system but with my credit score they were able to get me 0% down 0% financing over 1 year so I went with the financing. I had a good experience and recommend them.“

“Our water bill was $200 more than previous months. The City of Austin came out and discovered the water meter was running even with all water shut off. I texted Arnold at A Deal and they came out that same day to evaluate the situation. He determined that it was a leak near the meter on our side (not the city side). To fix the issue they had to dig down approximately 5 feet and repair the problem. A faulty sprinkler system install 25 years ago had a gasket that had gave way. Roots were growing up inside the pipes. They mentioned tree roots will find the source of water and grow towards it (and into the pipe in our case). Now the meter is no longer running and our water pressure is so much stronger (now that tree roots are not growing up inside the new pipes). I am so happy with their work. Highly recommend Arnold and his whole team at A Deal.“

Our 16 year old tankless water heater went kaput, called Nathan's Plumbing and he determined that the core was cracked thus beyond repair because of its age :-/ 24 hours later, he had installed a comparable unit. “I don't like to ask for help. That's partly a psych thing, but it's not like I haven't tried. In just the past decade, I've had to tell representatives from three different service companies to get out of my house. I have zero tolerance for high pressure tactics, especially when I've caught a tech telling me straight up lies. So after over a week without AC, I still didn't want to reach out for help. I called out of desperation. I needed someone legit to handle the R22 in the unit I was going to replace myself. I wanted it gone. Despite everyone saying "no job too small" on their vans and websites, Daniel's was the only one that agreed to come out.

Luis N. from Daniel's arrived on time and ready to get working. Naturally, I had to supervise, which included some Q&A about my issue. Luis offered to look under the hood for me, and I agreed. In just over an hour, he did meaningful things with the outside unit, then the inside unit, then the thermostat (all of which I had tried to fix myself), and he got the thing running smoothly, blowing sweet, cool air. My hero!

The charge was super reasonable, and Luis was cooler than I would have been with a ham-handed DIYer. He joked about "restoring (my) faith in humanity" as I paid him, but he was right. “I called them today to resolve a clogged toilet. The friendly dispatcher sent Phillip in about an hour and he did a great job resolving the clog which was caused by a non-obvious issue. While not inexpensive, I felt the money was well-spent considering that it was a Sunday and he did find the source of the clog and solved the issue. Overall, I appreciated the professionalism of the company, the dispatcher, and Phillip that lead to a good experience !“
