They’re pretty straight forward, windows are good quality and installation for 14 windows was done in one morning.

I’d recommend ask for tempered glass bc the default is non-Tempered glass. It’s more money but they are more resistant to impact (winds, vandalism, accidents, etc). Also they break in little pieces instead of massive long murderous daggers ?️. It was about $1000-$1500 more for 14 windows to change from non-tempered to tempered.

They can give a precise quote just by looking at your house using google maps and asking how many windows you want done. After that a project manager will come and visit your house and take precise measurements. You don’t have to be present for that as long as you give permission to enter. Our quote didn’t change from Google maps quote to in-person visit quote.

When we used them they said they only did window replacement. They don’t install new windows where there wasn’t a window already.

Financing back then was 12 months 0% interest. But we didn’t use that bc we had other options for financing.

They won’t ask to sit down with you for 3 hours to try to sell their product. Every interaction I had with them was 1-5 minutes. Pretty straightforward no bull crap approach.

They have a warranty that covers manufacturing defects and accident. Can’t get better than that (on paper). We’ve never needed that bc the windows have been outstanding so far.

I don’t know whether they have a “showroom” where you can go see the windows in person. Honestly, when I bought ours I looked at their Google reviews, looked at their PDF pamphlet available on their website, which has pictures of their products, and went for it.

“Clinard Home Improvement did my roof,gutters,gutters guard,overhang and siding a few years ago and it looks as good today as did when they did it. So I had them come out and upgrade my deck and put shutters on my house and it looks great. The workers are very good at what they’re doing and I’m very happy with everything they have done. “Update: I am updating this review. After my initial, very poor, months-long experience, I was able to connect with Amy Smith at Central Woodwork. I am unsure what her exact role is, but she immediately took ownership of my situation and worked towards resolution. Her communication was fantastic and she addressed all of my issues- which I might add is difficult to do when she was not responsible for the previous poor experience. She scheduled and got my install completed. During the install process, there was one window that was incorrect, but this was addressed immediately and was efficiently reordered and installed. The installers were timely and professional. I am updating my review to reflect this, and hope that they are on the path to smooth sailing. Amy is the MVP there, and should be in charge if she’s not already!

Previous: Their windows fail. I am unsure how they are still in business. I am in month EIGHT of trying to get them to honor a warranty to replace windows. They have put me off, don’t reply, just say things “slip through the cracks” or they “forgot to reply”. They state they will replace the windows, but you need to pay the install. I want to use them, so they cannot blame me for a bad install. Then you need to PREPAY (who does that for work to be preformed if they are legit), and here I am, no receipt, no phone call. This is some of the worst customer service ever I’ve ever encountered. Run away, you’d be better off putting Saran Wrap over your windows .“
