I had some previous martial arts experience before joining Taekwondo 101, but I can say with confidence that this is by far the best, and most self defense focused martial arts school I've been a part of. I love being a student at this school, and the great part about training here is that what we learn is not only fun, but it's very practical as well. From my personal experience, most martial arts schools (regardless of style) nowadays are focused on teaching their students with just competing in competitions in mind. At Taekwondo 101 you will be more than prepared for competitions if you're wanting to compete, but most importantly you'll be prepared for the real world and self defense situations. Grand Master Joseph Veach has an abundance of knowledge in not only Taekwondo, but a lot of other martial arts as well. If you want your child to be prepared to defend his or herself, this is the place. If you're an adult, like myself, and you want to learn traditional Taekwondo, as well as practical self defense, this is the place. Come check it out for yourself!

I've been attending regularly for two and a half years with my two sons. I value this very highly! It sharpens our focus, keeps us in shape and gives us self discipline. Master Veach has more than enough experience in many types of martial arts and knows how to teach. I recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself.
