We went here for a part of my friends bachelorette party and it was so wonderful. I have always wanted to do a self defense class and this was such a wonderful way to do it. They don't just go over how to physically protect yourself but also verbally and how your mindset needs to be. They were so relatable and respectful of us all and made everyone feel comfortable. Of course the class itself was fun and I definitely left feeling a little more empowered. I would definitely recommend.

I just had my bachelorette in Nashville and we took a self-defense class here called the ASSERT class. I cannot express how incredible Cat, Liz and Dmitri were for our group. They worked with me while I was organizing this months in advance and truly wanted to make it a special experience. They were so knowledgeable and so relatable at the same time. The class has a degree of stress as it should, but no one is forced to do things they are not comfortable with or are physically unable to do. My mom and future mother-in-law were with us and the instructors helped make it work for them with any handicaps they may have. Liz and Cat are excellent instructors. They came to our office for an on-site self-defense workshop and provided our group with not only instruction on physical evasion, but also mindset tools for avoiding and getting out of threatening situations. Totally recommend them!
