“Master Williams, Choi, and Eddins are incredible and their guidance has helped me gain confidence and strengthen me physically and mentally. Hapkido is so much more fun than regular work out, I highly recommend anyone to stop in to try a free class.“

“Gracie Barra Bellevue is the sister school to the Gracie Barra Franklin location and the instructors are all fantastic. I've been training for just over 3 years and have nothing but good things to say about jiu jitsu and the curriculum taught by Professor Justin and Professor Chris and the multiple other coaches they have. The kids program is great and they always have plenty of coaches to give your children the attention they need, and the adults' classes have a wide range of different levels and skills so no matter where you're at in your training, you'll fit in. It really is a place for everyone.“

“I personally have known Grand Master Shin for 40 years... His classes are well structured, and he has the history. It is not possible for someone to have more experience than he does; TaeKwonDo is his life and he was a teenager in Korea when TaeKwonDo got its name. All he knows and does is TaeKwonDo and there is none better. Class programs are agreed to and paid for as any other business; The one year program is your best option as the over all cost is cheaper this way. This is one of several programs he offers, based on how you want to commit to your goals. He has been in Nashville now for 49 years and has a large team of Black Belts to help give personal attention to everyone who joins. If you want to change your life and join a family of people who grow together, this is the place for you. If you are just curious, come watch a class, join in on a class and determine for yourself if TaeKwonDo is for you. As I said, I have known Master Shin for 40 years and there is none better and that comes from a Master instructor, 7th Dan Black Belt who has been teaching for over 30 years. Master Shin has respect around the World for his dedicated service to teaching TaeKwonDo. You'll find no place better.“

“I had some previous martial arts experience before joining Taekwondo 101, but I can say with confidence that this is by far the best, and most self defense focused martial arts school I've been a part of. I love being a student at this school, and the great part about training here is that what we learn is not only fun, but it's very practical as well. From my personal experience, most martial arts schools (regardless of style) nowadays are focused on teaching their students with just competing in competitions in mind. At Taekwondo 101 you will be more than prepared for competitions if you're wanting to compete, but most importantly you'll be prepared for the real world and self defense situations. Grand Master Joseph Veach has an abundance of knowledge in not only Taekwondo, but a lot of other martial arts as well. If you want your child to be prepared to defend his or herself, this is the place. If you're an adult, like myself, and you want to learn traditional Taekwondo, as well as practical self defense, this is the place. Come check it out for yourself!“
