I have been a patient here since 2007 and do not plan on changing doctors anytime soon. Even though I moved 2 hours away back in 2018, I still make the drive for my annual exam because they are the best!

I have gone to Shanks's Family Eyecare for almost twenty years, and Dr Shanks has always given me good advice. They also have a large selection of framesand make sure the frames fit correctly for a long as you have them.

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Shanks as were my children when they were young. Dr. Shanks is very kind, a really sweet compassionate Doctor. He takes his time in explaining things to you thoroughly. I can’t speak higher of Dr. Shanks or his employees, they are all wonderful. His wife is the receptionist and she is nice. His son, Brandon makes the glasses and will come out and answer any question you have. There is another lady that works there that has gorgeous long red hair, I forgot her name but, I adore her!
