I’m one who interviews A LOT of people before finding the best fit for my job. Mike at HomeTek was the first to quote my job and I was feeling pretty solid in that choice from the get go. But alas, I interviewed 6 more people to gather quotes and interactions with people. I circled allllll the way back to Mike because he is super personable, kind, attentive. Not only that, his quote was reasonable and friendly to a young couple in a Tennessee SES and not California! We worked with Paul who is a MASTER tiler and sees the world in calculations. His attention to detail is impeccable and he’s so friendly I’m actually going to miss not having him around. Kindness abounds with him and it make me love my renovations even more knowing he put so much love into it. “It’s more than a job” as Paul says. This mentality shines through his work. The best way to evaluate the quality of a contracting company is not just the final product (which is FANTASTIC by the way) but it’s how they handle when things don’t go as planned or errors occur. It’s inevitable, so the character involved in pushing through challenges matters so much to me. Paul and Mike are very attentive, reasonable and accountable people. I felt so secure in our collaborative decisions in how to overcome obstacles. I’m not sure if this review conveys how solid of a choice HomeTek has been for me and my family but I assure you, I will not need to interview anyone else in years to come because it’s HomeTek or bust. Huge thanks to Mike and Paul for being great humans and the best choice all around.
Recently, HomeTek did some work for me. Let me say, everything about my experience with this company was top notch. Mike was quick to come look at my job and give me a quote. Once we settled on scope of work and cost, Mike had his team on my project within a few days. The thing that stood out to me was the quality of work. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Throughout the process, Mike kept me informed each step of the way. After the project, he wanted to ensure I was happy with the results. I would recommend HomeTek to anyone looking for any type of home renovations. Their prices are competitive and, again, their quality of work is exceptional. I don't think there is anything that Mike and his team can't do.
