1305 Lovell Rd, Knoxville“This place is incredible!! I would rate them a 10 star if I could. They saved the life of my German Shepherd, Rogue. When I first brought him in, he was running a fever. His infected elbow wounds were killing him. I brought him two to three times per week to get his wounds cleaned and wrapped. His elbows were infected with E. coli staph, and two other bacteria. It took two culture studies to find the right antibiotic to cure his wounds. Laser therapy also contributed to his healing. I had taken Rogue to two other Veterinarians who told me that there was nothing that could be done. I was not ready to put Rogue down. I am so thankful to Dr. Sherry Mellskog who took on the challenge of healing Rogue. Rogue is an aggressive dog and Dr. Sherry found ways to work with him in order to treat his wounds. When she could not be there, Dr. Cooper and Dr. McEnroe saw Rogue and contributed their expertise. They all contributed to Rogue's healing including the Veterinarian Technicians---Jenn, Brooke, Ashian, and Savannah. The office staff also helped Rogue in scheduling his appointments---Tara, Helen, Lynn, and Ashian. I have been to three different Veterinarian Hospitals and this one is the Best! I drive one hour and 40 to 50 minutes to get there. The quality of treatment is worth it! The environment is kind and friendly and they make you feel that your pet is special! I will forever be grateful and thankful to Dr. Sherry's medical treatment that saved Rogue's life! I highly recommend Lovell Animal Hospital!!!“

1111 Sevier Ave, Knoxville“My family's dog, Luna (German Shepherd) has seen three different vets since we got her back in 2021. She's wary of people and was a little bit at first here. However, after about 5 minutes, she grew super comfortable. She wasn't anxious, still a little wary, but did the best she's ever done at a vet office and around other people. I HIGHLY recommend this office.“

3314 Mill Rd, Knoxville“I have a cat that can get a little crazy when it comes to exams and shots. It’s hard bringing him in any where to get a check up. However, he could not hold food or water down so I brought him in today. The staff was nothing but kind, professional, and informative. Even though my cat was screaming bloody murder. They still did everything they could and more. I’ve brought him to other clinics in the past and most places treat him like a cat they don’t want to deal with. Not this place. I truly appreciate the entire staff for everything! I would highly recommend this place over and over.“

9049 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville“I just moved to the area and was nervous about having to find a new vet for my 2 cats. Booked an appointment with Cedar Bluff and was very impressed. The staff are amazing and made me feel like they really care about my boy’s wellbeing. Also really appreciated that they did everything in the room and didn’t take them to the back for service. The prices were also incredibly reasonable. Did 2 annual exams and got vaccines and it was a little over $300. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I look forward to working with them in the future.“

12330 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville“Central Vet (Mill rd.) had been a breath of fresh air for my family! We are NOT your average pet owners; both my wife and myself have been in veterinary/shelter medicine for 2 decades. We have done it all! Veterinary practice management, licensed veterinary technician, shelter adoptions manager, lead shelter behavior specialist, dog trainer, and canine physical rehabilitation (PT for dogs). I am a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner and received my education at UT. I’m sure that you can imagine; with the years of experience and knowledge that we possess, finding a veterinary facility that meets our requirements can be VERY challenging!! Things I am looking for in facility are as follows: modern website (showcasing the team is a MUST), online store, social media sites w/consistent posts, CSR’s who pickup the phone (not….press 1 for this, press 2 for this, etc.), electronic medical records (NO paper charts), clean & spacious lobby/exam rooms/restroom/outdoor space/reception desk, modern technology (digital x-rays, in house labs, dental x-ray, ultrasound, etc.), onsite routine & specialty surgery, email communication, weekend hours, and a high number of good reviews. That was just the list of what I look for in a veterinary facility, we haven’t even started on the staff requirements!! When evaluating support staff and finding the right doctor, there are a few things to consider. Is there a diverse group (age, gender, education, experience, etc) making up the team? When you have veterinarians across the “age spectrum” you can be assured that the medical tricks of the old days are meeting with modernized medicine of today. Staff longevity is also important! Trust me, an employee that is in the business to offer exceptional patient/client care will not stay on at a facility that doesn’t share in their principles. Lastly, having multiple veterinarians who take the time to provide good bedside manner, offer education on new treatments/medications, and believes in the importance of follow-up care….A++! I know, I’m a high maintenance person, but I own my animals the best possible care and will always take the time to find the most appropriate care for them. Central Veterinary Hospital has met all my needs for staff & facility! I am always greeted by a smile, the hospital is always clean, the support staff are knowledgeable, and the doctors go above & beyond every visit!! Thank you for taking on a crazy veterinary professional such as myself, I know that we can be a difficult group of clients. Shout out to: ⭐️Dr. Megan Broadrick for taking good care of the new patient Neshoba I brought to you! Tracey was very impressed by your hands on exam and follow up phone call to go over bloodwork. ⭐️Jess the assistant for your awesome venipuncture skills on a jumpy Aussie. ⭐️Autumn at reception…..you were AMAZING at answering all my questions, getting a refill on my pups medication, quoting costs for my upcoming visit, and going over all 4 of my dogs reminders!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️GREAT JOB⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

11301 Kingston Pike, Knoxville“I have a 5 year old golden retriever who I brought to Dr. Morrison after a long bout with not eating and having gastrointestinal issues. I had to change from another vet I was going to previously because I didn't feel Rose Bud was getting the care she needed. Dr. Morrison addressed the issue head on and Rose Bud went into surgery the following Monday. Rose Bud was in such a state she that the outlook wasn't good, but Dr. Morrison and all the vet techs and people at village veterinary medical saved her. I really can't say enough good things. I highly recommend this Veteranerian! Also Dr. L (I can never remember her full last name so I call her Dr.L) This vet is more expensive, but if you are looking for the best care for your animals, the price is worth every penny because the care is outstanding. I will always bring my dogs here now and I hope you will consider them if you want the best care for your pets too. With all my gratitude, Kristin“

I almost swore off exotic vets entirely after several poor experiences over the years, but a friend recommended Callahan Drive, and now I finally have an expert for my army of critters! Everyone here is professional and friendly, the prices are affordable, and Dr. Hilla can diagnose the problem at barely a glance. He has almost certainly saved the life of my jeweled lacerta!“

She always remembers all of us by name. Always checks in. She’s so sweet and special to my family. She always leads Prayer with us for the many times we unfortunately had to let our babies go live with the Lord in Heaven. She always works with us and we recommend her to EVERYONE. That fact that she comes to your home is such a relief since a lot of our babies get anxious in car rides. Looking forward to seeing her soon for MY new baby’s first checkup ❤️ “

“Best vets around, hands down - they really care about your pet and listen to you when you have questions, as well as help explain things so you can make the best decisions possible for your family member. I wouldn't hesitate to see any of the 3 veterinarians at Admiral, but have to really also give extra over the top recognition to Dr. Stephanie Hickey, who has made a point to always try to fit in our high maintenance rescue dogs or my accident prone dobe pack anytime we truly need help - even when they're slammed.
There's a reason I drive well over an hour from my home to their door when I need a vet (and as a professional trainer and longtime rescuer, I'm picky, lol)!! Give them a call - you won't be sorry you did!!“
