“After a neighbor recommended The Dog Wizard, we engaged them for private training for Julie, our 12-month-old mini goldendoodle. We thought Julie needed obedience training reinforcement, as she previously had boarding & training elsewhere. However, we - the humans - were the ones that needed it the most. We are continuing with the Boot Camp for a few weeks, as we want our pup to have as many doors open to her as possible in her life. Trainers are patient and kind. Our last dog developed a severe respiratory issue and the staff at Volunteer Vet saved her life. When issues from this illness arose at the end of her life (13 years), they did everything they could to save her, but were also compassionate enough to say “It’s time.”

The staff knows my dog when I walk in and is kind and friendly. With the new flow on Alcoa Highway, it is a little difficult and confusing to get to, but it’s worth the effort.“

“Happy Yap is an amazing daycare and you can tell they truly care about our pets. They have multiple open areas where the dogs roam, but the fencing around the perimeter is secure. Their rates are also among the best in town, plus they do boarding!“

This vet was very helpful, explained everything so that I could understand better (even though I plan on getting into animal care), they showed me exactly how to give my baby the shot. “My dog Kaiser has been on the best behavior since his visits to West Bearden Veterinary Hospital. A different vet hospital refused to take Kaiser because he was anxious. But the staff at West Bearden were understanding and really came out to take on Kaiser's anxiety and put him at ease. He's been calm ever since and I really appreciate and I'm thankful for the staff meeting the challenge instead of refusing to take him. Surpringly Kaiser remained calm received vaccination and had blood drawn all on his first visit without any episodes. He's had overnight stays and I'm so thankful for the staff and their knowledge, that I will always bring Kaiser there for future stays and treatments. The staff didn't hesitate to meet Kaiser and assured me that they knew what to do if he did become anxious but he remained calm and was very receptive to their care. It has made it possible for me to take Kaiser on walks without him pulling the leash and that was something I wasn't expecting. But thanks to the knowledgeable staff and their expertise I can now walk Kaiser without him pulling to chase everything. I didn't bring Kaiser there for training that was just something the knowledgeable staff did in their normal scope of practice. West Bearden has made a very positive change in the behavior of my dog and I would recommend them to anyone that needed treatment for veterinary care. I'm so thankful for their expertise in knowing how to handle and treat dogs. Kaiser didn't recieve this kind of acceptance at a different hospital therefore West Bearden is the best!!!“
