“I have to give a big shout out to Art of Dentistry. I broke a back molar over the weekend and after researching dentists in the area decided to make my first call to the Art of Dentistry. From the moment my call was taken by Alicia I was impressed. She was sympathetic from the get-go and worked to get me on schedule ASAP, which in this case was a couple of days out. I had let her know I was local and would happily come in if any cancelation occurred and not 5 minutes after getting off the phone she called back and told me to come on in for an appointment that had just been a no-show. Saw her again at the front desk of a very neat, clean and organized office. Filled out some quick paperwork and was seen promptly by a dental assistant, Liz who was very sweet and took x-rays.Dr. Harris was in next and walked and talked me through the options he felt were available for a crown or extraction depending on the damage when he removed the very large filling remaining. This office again was able to work me into another cancellation and I was seen the very next day.This time Dr. Harris was assisted by Myra, yet another friendly, calming and pleasant young lady. Two and a half hours of work later, I had a rescued tooth, a temporary crown and NEVER felt a bit of pain or discomfort. Dr. Harris even called me the next morning to see how I was doing!! So impressed with this dental office and I look forward to the permanent crown that they ordered and put on rush for me, as I am going out of town. From start to finish, this office was the perfect blend of professionalism and caring and warmth. EVERYONE on staff is so dang nice, even staff you bump into in the hall. Oh, and the bill was LESS than first estimated. I have found my new dental office and new dentist in Dr. Harris. i have worked in healthcare my whole life and am so used to being disappointed at how offices are run. These folks set the standard! Remarkable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.April 16. Just had the permanent crown placed and once again Art of Dentistry did an awesome job. This place is the BOMB! Clean, organized, patient focused, friendly, professional! Judith whisked me back as soon as I arrived and was so sweet an assistant. Dr Harris was once again his charming, reassuring and professional self. Never rushes the process. NO PAIN and I have a permanent crown that is the envy of my other teeth. Ran into Liz and Myra who had assisted during my first two visits and they are just so warm and welcoming. Even the gal who has the least enviable job, Sonia in billing, is just the nicest person and makes sure you understand and are good with the billing, which I find to be very reasonable. I booked my future exam with her so that I can attend to long delayed issues and long neglected dental health. I have found my dental office. No more sweaty palms and frustration with disorganized offices. These folks are wonderful.“

“Dr McKenzie has got to be the best dentist worldwide. He is so gentle and if you have any special procedures. He explains every step before preforming the actual step. He speaks to people like they are friends or family. I changed dental insurance companies to be in network. He has a wonderful and kind group of hygienists also.“

“I recently finished Invisalign. The original plan was for 28 trays in 6 months but ended up taking 52 trays in 1 year and 5 months. I have gum issues so the treatment had to be slowed down and extended. Dr. Wesam was so patient and careful to make sure I didn’t lose any teeth in the process. He worked closely with the periodontist and changed the treatment plan when needed. My teeth got more loose with the movement than normal due to my lack of gum so it was a little scary that I could lose one or more front teeth. I am very pleased with the final results. My teeth are straight and have tightened up nicely. In addition to straightening, Dr. Wesam did some cosmetic work to fill in gaps from missing gum. I am thankful to Dr. Wesam and his wonderful assistant, Jessica, that I am no longer self conscious about my smile.“

“Dr. Fogo—you treated me when I was a kid. 9 yrs old-12 yrs old. At that time, you fixed my cavities with silver fillings. I want you to know that I’m now 51 and the fillings are still in place! Amazing! I grew up and became an attorney. I’m practicing in Nashvillle now. My fillings are still intact but are being replaced now with crowns. “I had all of my teeth pulled 7 years ago…I had used another office to have my dentures made and thats where I made my mistake….I was treated unfairly and they lied about hidden fees & kept 25% of my refund…I have been very hesitant about buying another set due to this…It was very traumatic for me.I walked in Chattanooga Affordable Dentures and was immediately greeted by the sweet lady at the window…I didnt wait very long as I had a 8 a.m. appt time…The assistant was amazing with getting my impressions & wax fitting started…I came back to the 130 appt to try the new set and I was beyond impressed! The quality of this set of dentures compared to the 2 sets I have bought prior was Incredible!! “Let's be honest, no one likes going to the dentist especially when complicated dental work needs to be done. And it's hard to find a dental practice and a dentist that you can trust and puts your anxieties at ease. Either you like the office/the staff and the dentist doesn't have a great bedside manner. Or the dentist is great but the facilities are out of date and shabby. There is always something that doesn't check all the boxes and you end up settling in some way. Not this place. Shallowford Smiles checks all the boxes. It is immediately welcoming with its super cute decor and fully stocked lobby coffee bar. There is even a mini fridge with bottled water. For you mamas the bathroom has a baby changing table which is rare to see in a dental office. The place is bright, warm, clean, and welcoming! It has state of the art equipment and nothing about this dental office feels antiquated. Dr. Wilkinson is friendly, funny, and truly cares about your comfort. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even gave me a recommendation to see an oral surgeon after he caught something in my x-ray that needed addressing. This goes beyond the scope of the work he was asked to do. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to his office to be a regular patient, but I would make the trek to get treatment at his office again if something did come up. This is truly a gem of a dental office and Dr. Wilkinson is an amazing doctor!“
