“Twice our 20+ year old central air unit decided to stop working. Both times right at the onset of a heatwave. The first time (3-4 years ago) we called a competitor to Langland's and after 2 hours they gave up and said it was not repairable. We called Langland's and even though they were super busy, they found the time to come out. Literally took them 30 minutes to get our AC back up and running. The second time (today) we didn't waste our time calling someone else. This repair was a bit more work but once again the were quick, professional, and didn't mess around. Our home is cool and it's occupants are happy. As long as Langland's is in business they will be the only place in Brookings we call for heating or cooling issues.“

Josh took time out of his evening to return my call about issues with our furnace. He told me whether or not he gained my business, he just wanted to make sure I was educated to be safe. I knew I did not want to look any further for service after that conversation. I made an appointment with Josh and he stopped over to assess our situation. From there we came up with a game plan for a new furnace. Josh took in account our future plans for our home and made sure to build our new furnace system accordingly. Josh and Andrew came out installed our new furnace within a day. All I can say is wow! The quality of work is outstanding and they took care of ever little detail. They left no mess and made sure to check in with us the next day. Since the installation we have been worry free and I will always be a loyal customer of these guys! We felt confident in our purchase because of how Chris walked us through the process of selecting and paying for our new furnace. They promptly got us on the schedule. “I contacted Perrys Electric about installing a mini split system in my house. They came to look at my property, we come up with a basic plan and they gave me a quote. Once I accepted their quote they were able to order the equipment and start the install. The equipment took about two weeks to arrive and they were able to start the installation process right away. The overall time it took them to install the mini split system, which consisted of the outdoor unit and three indoor units, was three days. I was very surprised at how quick the equipment came in and how fast they were able to get it installed. The quality of the installation was excellent and they were able to run and install everything the way I envisioned. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. All the technicians were very knowledgeable about the system and were able to answer any questions that I asked them. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they were not the best at keeping the customer up to date or giving them information about the system without the customer having to ask for it themselves. The negative comment is a personal one that I felt, but might not matter for other customers. I am just a person that likes to know what is going on and how to take care of proper maintenance tasks, so I am always asking questions. As long as the customer comes up with all questions beforehand to ask them about the system, then there will be no issue at all as they are extremely knowledgeable about their work. Overall I would give them 4.5 stars due to the lack of information given to me without having to ask for it. Going off of their installation alone gives them 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone.“
