My first experience at Golden Shears was amazing. Very cozy, welcoming, and friendly environment. Salon was very clean and well taken care of. They were able to bring my hair from greasy gold go a platinum blonde and even stayed extra extra late to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.
My hair hair is transformed and I feel more confident with it then I did walking in. All of the time and effort has 100% been worth it.

i have nothing but good things to say about this place, the people, and the barbers there. it was a bit of a wait ONLY because it was the day before school started back and there was a room FULL of people waiting to get their haircuts but it was honestly sooo worth it! their normal hours of operation they close at 7 o’clock. tonight out of their own free time they stayed open until almost 12 o’clock at night to make sure they did every boys hair who walked through that door and they did an amazing job. my 11 year old nephew starts middle school tomorrow and it gave him the confidence he needed to go. he said this was his favorite hair cut he’s ever got and this is the only place we will EVER go from now on. the professionalism and attention to detail is like nowhere else. they may take their time but it’s because they make sure it’s done right. thank you so much to blockhead barbers and our specific barber ron. you guys are awesome. i highly recommend. you can tell you take pride in and care about not only the work you do but the people you provide service for. thank you guys so much. you guys truly went above and beyond. you did not have to take your free time and do what you did but you did out of the kindness of your heart. i believe this barber shop may be a hidden jem because of where’s it’s located many might not know about it but i’m so glad i saw it on google and gave it a chance. it is so close to our house and the man who answered the phone and all of my questions this afternoon was so nice as well. i just can’t get over the quality and customer service of this place especially for the price!!!!! my nephew said the barber Ron did such a good job not only with the haircut but took him seriously and talked him through what he really wanted or should do. please go. i know you barbers are probably going home exhausted tonight but just know you sent so many young men home tonight with smiles on their faces and the confidence they need for their first days tomorrow. they are going to bed feeling better about school and those first day gitters/anxiety has gone away some.

UPDATE: I originally posted a review of this barbershop and gave it 5 stars. It’s been about two years of coming here and thought this would be a good time to give a follow up review. After a while, things can change and your opinion of a place can change as well. Nothing has changed. They are still amazing with top notch service. Everyone is so friendly. Nate is amazing and the other barbers there are too. I’ve never felt un-welcomed here. They take their time and never rush a haircut. I’ve sat through many haircuts and each time the work is nothing below 5 stars I’ve never once seen an unhappy customer. I’m thankful for finding this place.

I visited Columbia a month ago and got a dip manicure while I was here. All around my experience was pleasant and relaxing. I typically dip my own nails because I was tired of being disappointed by manicures for the cost. I have now had this manicure for a MONTH and despite the growth, there’s NOTHING wrong with it. As someone who works with their hands often, uses my nails as tools, and is a little rough on my nails I’m delightfully surprised. I do not have one chip, the top coat is still shiny, no lifting, and even with the growth the dip overlay still looks natural. Absolutely a 10/10 experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Door to Door Floors from start to finish. Wesley came to our home to measure the room we wanted carpeted and also brought carpet samples. We picked out one we loved from the samples he brought. Ten days later, the carpet arrived and was installed. We were very pleased with the customer service, carpeting and the installation. Wesley kept us informed the entire time as to when the carpet was expected to arrive and when they could send an installer over. We highly recommend them! We will certain use them in the future should the need arise.

I contacted Jason to repair a serious water main leak. As soon as he arrived, Jason got down on his knees, emptied the water from the meter box and immediately diagnosed the problem as a blown gasket on the water meter flange that connected to the house. It was an easy repair and told me to call City of Columbia and ask them to effect the repair. An hour later, City of Columbia came to my house and repaired the leak at no cost to me.The day before a contractor (who didn't do what Jason did) quoted me a price of $4,200 to run a new line from the meter to the home. So, Jason's wisdom and expertise saved me from a costly mistaken repair, provided great advice on how to effect the repair, and charged me a reduced service call fee.All I can say is WOW! Thank you Jason and Forest and Wildlife Innovations for your wisdom, professionalism, and integrity!

Dr. Cohen started treating me about 29 years ago with my first pregnancy, since then whenever my body doesn’t feel well rather it’s vertigo, carpal tunnel, or headaches he’s knowledgeable on how to treat the issue! Once you’re diagnosed you will never be in his office longer than 20 minutes and no appointment is needed, because you can go during his open hours. Our 3 dogs visit Van Crest for their well check-ups, and sick visits. Our 2 newest puppies just finished their routine puppy visits. The staff was very accommodating when scheduling around my work hours. The vet techs and both veterinarians were welcoming, and very knowledgeable. All questions or concerns I had were answered at each visit. All email correspondence was returned quickly, and thoroughly. I highly recommend Van Crest for all of your pet care needs!
I felt that Dr. Floyd provided excellent counseling today for treatment options for my chihuahua who had a large mass resection from the frenulum of her tongue about 10 weeks ago. The treatment was initially successful and after a short recovery she had about 6 weeks of excellent health. Options discussed today included surgery, oncologist consult, several pharmacological options and hospice. His options considered my dog’s previous history of intolerance for carprofen (similar to ibuprofen). He was obviously very busy, but he took the time necessary to explain all options with objectivity and empathy. I highly recommend his care.
Dr. Foy treated one of my chickens twice for bumblefoot. He was knowledgeable and took a lot of time with us. I felt like he took a genuine interest and never felt as if he were rushing through the examinations. He ended up performing surgery on her and his staff did a great job showing me how to properly administer the oral antibiotics. I will use this practice going forward for all my animals. It's in a great location and much closer than my current vet.

Central Bark is a special kind of business and they understand how much pets mean to their owners. It is a place that you feel like, "I get to bring my dog here!!". Our fella has many friends there and he looks forward to his one day per week. Even when we moved to Kershaw County, we make the trip one day a week so he can be a part of the CB experience. We board him there when we cannot take him on trips and you just won't find a more dedicated, compassionate, and caring staff for your dog.

The room they stayed in looked cozy with a tv going so they had the comforts of home. When I brought them home they were so relaxed like they were the ones that had been on vacation :)

My only complaint is her calendar is always full, and she books up fast, so you gotta be quick. We don’t have enough cultured, kind, encouraging, and morally decent people like her. She has helped me, in so many ways. I can't thank her enough.

The BEST massages I’ve ever had. Before Kelly, I had always had “nice” massages, but after Kelly’s amazing hands, everyone else just seems like a waste of money. She listens to your input, does exactly what you want, will find your knots and will ACTUALLY get then out! I have sent several friends and family members to her for back issues and they have all been very satisfied and impressed. I can’t say enough good things. I love Kelly!

My wife had double knee replacement surgery. After she was released from the hospital she went to The Sigurd Center and the Occupational Therapist who treated her was terrific. She encouraged my wife to follow a personal exercise regimen and helped train her how to do the exercises in between visits to The Sigurd Center.Their treatment facility was spotlessly clean, fresh, and had excellent equipment.We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy — they get results.

King is the King of driving instructors. I am an experienced European driver but King patiently and professionally instructed me on the best driving practice when driving in the US. I learned a lot from him and he changed my approach to driving for the better. He was kind, generous, firm and an excellent teacher and had a wealth of driving knowledge with learning taking place in a safe environment. Go raibh maith agat (Thank you in Gaelic)
