Augusta Place Salon is such a relaxing and welcoming environment! Every stylist there is so friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about their clients. If you’re looking for a modern short male cut, definitely go see Kayla—she’s fantastic. If you want bangs done right, Whitney absolutely slays them. And my stylist, Megan Powers, is truly the best! No matter what I ask for, she always nails it. Her skills with coloring, thinning, layering, and texturizing very thick hair are incredible—she knows exactly how to make it look and feel amazing. I couldn’t recommend this salon or their talented team!“

“My experience is primarily with Studio 22 which is within Derek's Salon. I absolutely LOVE Abigail. I received a coupon to see her for a Brazilian, eyebrow wax and eyebrow tint from my friend back in 2015. I continued to see her almost religiously for the next 4 years, only for eyebrow wax and tint though because I made it a priority after she showed me what she could do with my brows. You see, I am a natural platinum blonde with the same platinum eyebrows, which are basically non-existent without upkeep. Her formula for waxing is remarkably gentle on your skin, and this is coming from someone with extremely sensitive skin. Upon request, her brow tints are on point as well. I came back for her talent, but also for Abigail herself. She is kind, easy to talk to, and makes you feel completely comfortable. As for Derek, he is a nice man who always made me feel welcome, along with the rest of the staff. Although I haven't visited them the last couple years, that has nothing to do with them, and I highly recommend this establishment for all your personal care needs!“

“Love this little salon!
I live in TR and have bounced around to different local salons with mixed experiences. I was looking for somewhere new and decided to give Salon at S Poinsett a try. I popped in for a cut and style and had Emily as my stylist. Emily was pleasant and easy to talk to. She seemed knowledgeable about hair and gave me a great cut. I can’t wait to go back and get a cut and color next time.
One recommendation for the owner- The place is in desperate need of a deep clean (hair all over baseboards) and fresh paint all over. It looks like the place hasn’t been painted in the 10 years since they opened their doors. The entry door, window moldings, etc. all need a fresh coat. Adding plants and other pretty elements would be a nice touch too. Aesthetics are really important if they want to complete with the place across the street! ?“
