“I wish our rating system would be ten stars instead of 5, but since it is not, I'm giving Frank F*** and his Southern Building Construction, Inc crew 5 stars X 2. It was hard for me being widowed recently, to make my decisions on replacing the siding on the house. My husband always handled those things. Frank knew exactly what to look for in the colors I was considering, the quality level of the siding to use and even the time it would take to finish the job. The man knows his business and is honest. What I appreciated about him was the fact he didn't push on me the most expensive products. His estimate on the project was very reasonable. I had a lot of damage behind the old siding and every bit of it was repaired, and the whole house was wrapped before the siding was applied. The crew worked efficiently and professionally and were very friendly. I appreciated that they played good music while they worked, and there was no alcohol, smoking nor bad language used while on the property. Made sure they cleaned up after themselves when done.Frank is not only honest, but he is thoughtful. He enjoys doing jobs for the elderly because he sees how often companies take advantage of us. He takes time to talk and discuss our decisions and to make sure we understand every step of the job to be done. He's a patient man who doesn't seem to be bothered with numerous phone calls having to repeat himself or calm the anxiety of this old woman. I plan to have him take care of everything else needing repair around my home. You can count on him to do the job and do it right. I believe he can do anything.“

“I hired Precision Carpentry & Plumbing to replace the rotten posts attached to two heavy wooden gates on an old split-rail fence around my backyard. They did an excellent job. The owner, Charles Dieterich, is fair and honest. The guys that did the work (Kevin and David) are master craftsmen, and they went above-and-beyond to not only replace the posts but also a few sections of rail AND to reinforce the bottoms of the gates and nearby fence to ensure my small dogs could scoot under and get out of the yard. It took about 3 months for the work to begin, as they had some big jobs ahead of mine. But once they started, they completed all the work in a very efficient amount of time. The final product was outstanding and lived up to our expectations and we are very supportive of local family-owned businesses. Thus, we highly recommend them. We do have suggestions that may be helpful. Any remodel project starts with an estimate of costs and that will change through the project as specific product choices are made. If managing costs are important to you, you should ask for updated estimates directly from BRCD at each step where a product choice has been made. Also, the BRCD office was somewhat disorganized so we recommend keeping your own records/photos of product choices. Andrew, the business owner, is knowledgeable.
