“I got tired of asking people, "what did you say?"....It took me two years to admit I needed hearing aids due to the "commits" my friends and family whom had bad experiences with their's. So I decided to talk to my doctor (in the past they had a Hearing Dept. in their facilities). I was given a list of three Hearing Centers.
(I not only write reviews, I actually read them!) I chose Gaston Hearing Center in Belmont located on 19 W. Myrtle St.
It was somewhat a shock to have an actual doctor answer the phone!!! Dr. Tom Bocchino was very informative about the process of a hearing test to assess if I needed hearing aids.
After a series of tests which indicated the decline of my hearing, I decided to go with the hearing aids.
Dr. Boccino is SO patient, he answers ALL my questions.
At present I have had my hearing aids for over 2 months, ("what?") is no longer in my vocabulary. I see Dr. Boccino for check ups regularly, and he gives me helpful suggestions on care and use of my aids. Honestly, I could call him anytime if I have a question! VERY rare these days!! Thank you, Dr. Boccino!!!

“It took months to contact ( reason for 4 starts instead of 5). No way to contact online and voicemails unanswered. But once they did, all the staff was helpful and friendly. I guess they are just overworked. Went in for a colo with Dr. Oh. Very positive and comfortable experience. Front desk is welcoming and nice. Waiting chairs are uncomfortable - felt bad for the person with me who had to sit in them for two hours. They got me back quickly. All staff was efficient and friendly and seem competent. Procedure went well. Prep they gave was tolerable - better than some I've done. Overall I am pleased with Caromont Gastro. No more drives to Charlotte! Yay!“

“I could not be more pleased with this office. I switched here in June, and it was the best decision I could have made. I see Logan, and I can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. She actually listens to me and all my concerns. I love that when you call this office, you immediately get to speak to someone instead of a recording. Everyone has been very friendly with excellent customer service. This morning I woke up in pain. I called the office when they opened, and immediately spoke to someone and they fit me in an hour later. This is rare. All other doctors I have seen usually can't get you in for weeks. I cannot recommend this practice enough!“
